This game will end up being for the #2 seed in District. The winner would play Lincoln Co most likely. Luke will be the game, if he's on Harlan can look out, if he has a so-so game Harlan wins. Whitley D is a little better than Harlan's as well. Plus he has home field. Sorry Granny I will take Whitley in a slobber knocker by 3.

Huh? How would they be "overrated"? They have beaten the teams they were supposed to beat so I guess they are just right rated. They are supposed to win this one too, so Whitley 35 Harlan County 21.

If I read it right, Harlan County is a .9 favorite. Whitley is at home though, so that may put the Colonels up by 1 or 2.
Either way, it should be close.

I agree, I think this game goes back and forth all night. HC is not going to stop Woods, the best they can do is stop everyone else, and hope to limit woods as much as possible. At the same time, WC will have a hard time stopping Cornett. I think Simmons from HC could be the X factor, if he can have a big game then HC pulls away. I do think it's going to be a nail bitter....

That's true. Do you think Skal is going to be cleared to play by the NCAA? It's not looking very good for him after what I read yesterday. Nothing he did wrong but his handler was apparently looking for money.

So that we are on topic i'll just say the WC/HC game will go down to the wire, If Skal doesn't play for UK this year I think they are still a good team, HC has a really good kicker so I would trust him with the game on the line, With UK's three guards in the game at the same time they will be tough. Not sure how good a kicker WC has this year but it could come down to the kicking game, plus with Poythress back Uk will still be top 10 I'm sure Confused

Poythress will create mismatches and be hard to defend. I look for him to have a big year.
