Yeah they are loaded with talent thanks to Pinevilles middle school team. But the main reason they are loaded with talent is their consolidation with Lone Jack High School. That is common knowledge alll over the county.

Yes Bells freshman team could probably beat most people on their schedule. That just proves that he plays in the weakest region, and the weakest class in the state. And he always has.

Fiftyishfootballmom have a safe trip to Bell Co if your coming. If you want good parking get there early if possible. Bell Co got a lot of new things this year, I guess winning State will. LOL...

You continue to show how smart you are NOT!!!! Who are the Pineville middle schoolers????? None of the current players played at Pineville Middle school. :dontthink Mills and Madon left Pineville after the 5th grade. Also who are the kids that came from Old Lone Jack area on the 09 team???? I don't think it is common knowledge??? Best thing you can do is

Bell has no choice in where they play. And by the way our district is probably the toughest in our Class. You have no idea what you are talking about. You are probably a Pineville fan who has hard feelings because Bell County is so much better and you wish that you has something to say about your team:eyeroll:

BellCoBobcats09 Wrote:Bobcats are like a different team than the 07 squad. This 09 squad has LOTS MORE SPEED!! If no one has heard of Cory Davenport by the time the first 2 games are over with this season you will know exactly who he is. A sophmore who runs a 4.43 40 with killer speed. Once hes on the outside or threw the line of scrimmage he is gone!!!
So you have one guy that runs a 4.43, and im sure its a non wind aided 40. BUT Alcoa has at least 10 with 4.5 speed or better im sure. Bell Co may have 2 or 3 fast players but everybody on Alcoas team is fast. These boys are raw and for everybody that is saying Bell will win has obviously never seen Alcoa play. Losing something like 13 seniors makes Bell soft and it will be hard for them to put a team on the field that will even be able to score on Alcoa. I am not a fan of either team but I respect Alcoa for what they are and what they have accomplished.:devilflam
Alcoa - 49
Bell - 8
And that is the JV defense that Bell scores on

Three straignt flags....stopped the clock and gave Leslie the ball back with chance to score! Sure they were going to give him a chance for record, but did it on first down...mistakenly seven yards farther than Hilton would later admit...he thought it would be sixty ...but forgot the seven yard snap drop. Bell will be stronger this year because so many of the young players had a lot of varsity time....while they were "runnning up the score" on the other teams. You cannot tell freshmen and sophomores to stop playing at beginning of the half. Bell had running clock in several of their games.

Your tirade about Coach is way out of line. He coaches at Bell County. The KHSAA assigns the districts and teams...you are REQUIRED to play in you district and region. There were a lot of years when Rockcastle dominated this district. Ask Boyle and Lexington Catholic what is feels like to be two of the top three in the state in their class.....and only one gets out of DISTRICT each year. Not their choice either.
08-19-2009, 11:01 PM
Heck then Corbin is in a WEAK District then. Middlesboro finishes 2nd with a 8-4 record. Rock 8-4 and Knox Central 9-4 so Bells distict is stronger than Middlesboro!

OMG! That's the funnest thing I've ever read!! The players from Pineville came to Bell to be on a WINNING team, not because Bell needed them to win and Lone Jack has been consolidated for 24 years!!! LOL To funny!!!!:lmao:

Wow youre cool BCdad, if in fact that is a kid!!! Cant wait for the Bell kids to get run over by the Alcoa freshman who are "true" freshman and not 20 yr olds who have been held back 6 times. Bell will be shuttin those mouths on here and on the infamous log mtn...vomit... I have watched both teams play consistently over years, and never have I seen anyone dominate like Alcoa and they will dominate over Bell. Guess what? Your coaches are even saying that this game is probably over because Alcoa has "WAY TOO MUCH SPEED"!!! Direct quote from an assistant coach.
Only way you will keep it close is for Bear Bryant, sorry, I mean Dudley to put a little influence in. Im neither a fan of Alcoa or Bell but I am a realist and realistically you have no chance even with the cheating and 5 time hold backs. Sorry for your luck

When Bell County won State in 1991, they were class 3A, but I guess he just changes classes when he needs to to win as well!! HAHA You have got to be kidding!!! :lmao:

hateBC Wrote:Here we go. Bell county is finally playing a good team. Bell Co. always has and always will play in the weakest region, and the weakest class in the state. Every time they rework the classes Bell Co. always ends up in the easy class. Someone needs to drive to Alcoa and talk to the football coach. Tell him that Dudley Hilton has ran the score up on everybody he has played. He would run it up on the Kentucky School for the Blind if he played them. He does this because it is all for Dudley. As arrogant as he is he really does think he is Bear Bryant. What he is is a disgrace to high school football. I hope I get to see Alcoa run the score up on him like he has done everybody else that he could do it to. Go Alcoa, and please run the score up if you can!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes Dudley does run the score up. Shame on him..NOT! That's why in several games last year the varsity team was out of uniform after half time, letting the JV play. How's that running the score up? Stop waisting people's time with you're crazy posts. Whatever you're mad at Bell/Hilton for, you need to deal with it elsewhere.:ChairHit: :please:

I love how neighboring schools who don't compete with us at any level like to critize us. Your school and staff have been asked on many occasions to schedule JV, Freshman and middle school games. Wonder why they always turn it down???? It is b/c they don't want your little ego's crushed. :dontthink

The Bell staff has alot of connections in Tennessee. Went to one of their senior nights a few years back, and half of the players announced was from Orange country. If this is a home and home series, Bell could use the return game to make some in home visits.

Thanks for the link very nice article.
Fan First, seems you are another hater that knows very few facts about Tn. kids playing for Bell Co. Right now there is only 1 he is a Soph and will see little to no varsity time. His Father and mother are Bell graduates and wanted their son to play on a winning team and hopefully win a State Championship just like dad, which he did.

That's showing respect. You can bet Bell has just as much respect for Alcoa. That's the way it should be. Everyone needs to get out and enjoy the game. I look forward to it. I'm very excited to have a team the caliber of Alcoa coming to play us. How can you not love two great programs going at it?
