Right now it looks like Bell Co's to lose to me. I think they are about a TD better than Boyle this year...especially since it's at home.
I do not see the champion coming from the West.

The "real" state championship game will come when Bell and Boyle meet, and ill take Bell in that one 28-14.
I wish Boyle would have to play KNOX before they could play bell like bell will have to before they play Boyle.
I think that game would be a tight one.
I'm sure Rowan County will be no push over at home. I wouldn't be counting any chickens just yet. Odds are that both teams will, but It's not a given that Boyle and Bell will both be standing on November 26th.

Knox Central is alot better than most think. #2 defense in 4A will make them winners alone up until Region Championship.

Lol. As long as you know.
Good luck to EJ Friday night and, hopefully, a second mtg this year in the 2nd rd.

You can count chickens and turkeys and geese and all the spirits on Lockegee Rock and Rowan County will not advance far in 4A.

Bell for the win

Just keep overlooking Allen County Scottsville. 21 and 1 but hey they must of been all easy games right. 3 time defending district titles, must be a soft district. The Pats have never been given any credit, why start now. Come out to WKU and watch the Patriots play in December. It will be a fun day.

Im a follower of Lexington Catholic so I think I have seen the best teams in the state, heck they have played them all.I didnt get to see Trinity but im sure they are very good.I saw St.X, Boyle, Those were the 2 best teams I saw Lex Cath play.personally I think Boyle the night I saw them play Lex Cath was better than any team I saw this year hands down.Lone Oak,Catholic should have beat them but bad play calling cost them that game.Intrested to see what Bell county has but is better be alot to beat Boyle they were a machine against Catholic. From what I have seen Boyle wins the state 4a

All I need to know is that Boyle beat Johnson Central and Christian County. Boyle will be playing Allen County Scottsville in the finals.

IMO this years team is better than the 08 squad. Alot more speed on both sides of the ball than 08.
2007 Lex Cath
2005 Rockastle
2004 Highlands
2003 Boyd County
wait a minute.. you actually think that this years team is better than the 2004 team that got beat by Highlands.. this is one time i may have to disagree wit ya.. that was prolly the best team Bell County has ever had IMO.

I put their record up on a previous page as one of the contenders.
They've played a good schedule while going 7-3.
Western has played 5 teams with winning records, defeating 3 of them.
Biggest problems right now are that loss to a 5-5 Butler squad. Couple that with a bad game against a bad Valley team in Week 9 and a loss to Ballard in Week 10 doesn't have them entering the playoffs on a roll. Still they have some talent and athletes to make a run beyond the first couple of rounds.
Here's their stats on the year. http://scoreboard.12dt.com/scoreboard/kh...ts_32571_0
Looks like they are run heavy and will need to develop a passing attack to make a deep run.

I'm not trying to hijack this thread, but could someone PM me if Bell can get a home game on Friday November 26th? I always try and go to a game that weekend and I was hoping to see those Bobcats in action.
Thanks,

If they make it that far in playoffs (and they should) that will be the Semi-Finals. (Maybe vs. Boyle) Can't think of a better game to see them in action.

Are they playing on Log Mtn?

The last game I saw them play was against Knox Central and that was a heck of a game.
Last year you guys (ky) started early and I didn't get to see any games. :HitWall:

I think that it's going to be the winner of the Boyle Co. and Bell Co. game vs Collins.
Collins-21/14
Boyle-28/Bell-42
I like Bell County's offense and there defense is really good don't be surprised if they give up less than 35 points in the playoffs.

Boyle's only loss in the last 39 games was to Bell County in 2008 who went on to win the state that year.
I think over the last 3 years, Boyle's schedule has been rated tougher than Bell's each year.
