Children Up To Age 26 Can Stay On Their Parents' Insurance
Health care reform law allows adult children to remain on their parents' insurance policies until their 26th birthday, at the parents' choice. Financial dependency, student status, marital status, employment and residency can no longer be used to determine a child's eligibility for coverage on his or her parent's health insurance policy. Young Adult Coverage
Under the Affordable Care Act, if your plan covers children, you can now add or keep your children on your health insurance policy until they turn 26 years old.

What This Means for You
Before the health care law, insurance companies could remove enrolled children usually at age 19, sometimes older for full-time students. Now, most health plans that cover children must make coverage available to children up to age 26. By allowing children to stay on a parent's plan, the law makes it easier and more affordable for young adults to get health insurance coverage.

I agree, RV. Obama did not want the most costly parts of Obamacare to take effect until after this election. Still, medical coverage has risen $2,500/year, when Obama promised that it would decrease by that much each year. The reason is that the Obamacare bureaucracy and regulations are being put in place. Democrats tried to make the early years more palatable by tucking the punitive parts of the law in the years following the election.
