upset alert!!!!! JC-14 HHS-7

Listen, I'm all for the upset, but if JC is able to pull the upset I believe that it would be to the tune of...56-49 or some high scoring affair. Both of these teams are notorious for their offense and I don't believe neither defenses could stop eachother, it is gonna be whoever makes the first mistake such as a fumble or an interception to win this game in my opinion.

There is a greater liklehood of the score being 1-0 than 56-49 JC.

So you are saying that Highlands should not even show up to the game knowing they are gonna get upset Wink

Clueless alert!!!!! What half of which quarter?:eyeroll:
can anyone give me the address to the school football field so i can load it into my gps thanks. Looking forward to a great game regardless of the out come. I believe that Fort Thomas will be making the trip next year back to the nest.

As far as some posters saying that the west could beat JCHS, I hope you get the chance to prove it, but if you will ask most the state title is being played for Friday.

Where your ranked doesn't matter when you walk on that field, it is were your heart is when you walk off of it.

2400 Memorial Pkwy, Ft. Thomas, KY

Your best parking bet is to come up Highland Avenue and make a right. This takes you away from the stadium slightly, but there should be on-street parking on S. Ft. Thomas or on some of the side streets. You'll have a 5 to 10 minute walk down to the stadium from here, but you won't have to deal with the post-game traffic. (Last week there was a lot of parking on N. Ft. Thomas, but I have a feeling that you guys will travel better than Dixie.)
If I can help with directions, suggestions, etc., don't hesitate to ask.
Highlands Big........
Highlands wins by whatever it wants to!

I'd come up Memorial. There is an elementary school festival on Highland Ave Friday night and it can get pretty crowded.
no upset alert hhs wins huge
They was a little surprised last year wasn't they? Johnson Central is a good team, and Highlands knows that. Will be a great game.

It is almost game time and all the experts have commented on here. I think it boils down to the following:

JC does not have the featured power runner this year but has a much quicker backfield and a more mobile QB. They may have a bit more passing game than last year. Great running team that can break the big one.

Highland does not have the big arm at QB, but its running game is better and they have several weapons. Good solid defense.

I think it will be a great game, but now it is down to heart and pride. Football is a physical game, not a ballet, so I look for the team who can knock the other team off the ball to win. This one is going to surprise alot of fans!

Thanks for the info, looking forward to a great atmosphere. Hope the food is good.
So say Highlands does end up blowing JC out...what is going to be the excuse by all of you JC fans who think they're going to surprise Highlands?

The food at the game will be like high school cafeteria food, but there are alternatives to that if you get into the area early enough.

I agree with your second paragraph, then you lost me after that. Highlands lost their starting QB after the St. X game but Towles has filled in and played the position like he was there all year. The young man is doing an outstanding job and if you don't think he has a big arm, you're the one that is going to be surprised!!! I do agree with your statement about the team who can knock the other team off the ball will win. I don't think anyone will be surprised by Highlands line!!!:HitWall:

Perhaps you would. However, are you sure that's what would be said by the mass of the Bluebird faithful? I know as a JC fan, that's what I, and about all of the JC fans would say, but are you confident that we would get respect, rather than excuses if it goes the other way? I'm kinda thinking probably not, based on the comments that have been made on here by some of your more vocal fans, especially since JC has given both Highlands and CovCath some very serious competition in their state championship run years. Not seeing a great deal of respect from some of those guys at the present, that I can see.

If JC didn't use smoke and mirrors when communicating with opposing teams( i.e. game tapes), maybe they'd get alittle more respect from people in NKY. Nobody likes dirty business. No respect from this fan.
If JC can limit turnovers and contain the deep passes they could win this. I believe JC will rush for 400 yards win or lose. But they have to limit turnovers.

What does any of that have to do with what happens on the field after the kickoff?
