Brooks has only 3 committed for next year!
How pitiful is that?
And, he wouldn't offer to our kicker last year. Merrick vs. Seiber? What is Brooks thinking?
Had Brooks offered Merrick we would have three kickers on scholarship this season which would be idiotic. Most SEC programs have only 1 kicker on scholarship, if any at all. Don't blame him for that move as we already have Tydlacka on scholarship and had more blaring needs at skill positions.

I will blame Brooks for not offering Merrick. Mainly because if you'll look at next year's signees one is a kicker, Mansour. So, is idiotic of UK to sign Mansour?

We could have redshirted one of the kickers. Or, better yet, point Seiber back to 75 south.

Is that a PERSONAL attack against players at Alcoa that they are stupid?

Hey BC Bell did not go to UK or UL passing leagues this summer, as reported on CoachT. They went to 2 small college's this summer for 7 on 7. They don't pass the ball much no need in spending the summer doing it.

So, why you telling me......it was a KY guy that posted that info.
Bell co. don't pass the ball much? Sounds like a one dimensional team. How in the world did Bell win a championship with a one dimensional team?? KY football is WEAKER than I thought!
Alcoa WILL shut down Bells run game! NO DOUBT..........

Some of these scores predicted are really ridiculous , The Bobcat Hilton on Log Mountain is a very intimidating place to play for the opposing team as i know cause my team has played there many times over the last 20+ years.
Bell might lose but it won't be easy and it won't be by 40+ , **** at one time the #16th ranked team in the NAITION (Highlands) came in and need a miracle field goal as time was running out just to escape Log Mountain with the victory , Even if Bell loses the players and fans from Alcoa will never forget the trip , Enjoy it!!!!!!

I don't have anything bad to say about Alcoy's kids. No reason to. But some of the fans is a much different story. Just come root for Alcoy next friday and I'll be praying the whole time that we don't get our little boys hurt.

Then why did you say the ANYthing about 19 year old players being freshman!?
Buddy....if you can not take a little rib'n from the other teams fans, without personal attacks to the players then YOU are taking this stuff to serious.....chill.

No because Seiber is a Senior. That means they will only have two kickers on scholarship, not three next year. That way Tydlacka is a Senior and he is only a Freshman coming off his redshirt year.
Nobody will disagree Seiber has been an epic failure, but no coach in their right mind would kick a player off the team that they recruited simply because he isn't playing up to par. Talk about a recruiting nightmare.

Whoa now, I was the one who posted that on CoachT.com and here's exactly what I said:
Quote:I have no idea how they did in 7-on-7's this summer.
I know they didn't finish very high in the UK/UL passing camps.
I guess I just worded that wrong, because I meant that if they did participate in the UK/UL passing camps they didn't finish very high. I didn't know if they had competed in the camp or not. Only teams I remember that competed where the top 4 and the ones Prestonsburg played.
My bad.

I find it VERY funny that you're the one suggesting someone else "chill". Who says you get to decide what can be brought up and what can't just because you take something that's said wrong. I knew exactly what he was talking about, as did most and am amazed that you did not. Just bring your Tn. tale over here to Log Mountain and just watch us show you how weak Ky. teams are since you've obviously forgotten the Tn vs Ky all star game score. You have no idea dude what's coming your way so my advise to you is "sit down, hold on and shut up"! Oh and maybe bring you some of your silly little art work to give you something to smile at because you won't be smiling over the tale whipping you all will be feeling about the 4th quarter.

Dang I had forgot about that. To say you are even in the same classification as Cumb Gap shows how weak Alcoa's competition really is.
No wonder they have won 5 state Championships in a row.

:thatsfunn:thatsfunn caught a big one!
Yea, Upper TN is very weak.........and for your info. Alcoa beat CG 68-0!. It was 49-0 at the half......starters where pulled in the 2nd qtr. and the freshman finished the game. Upper TN and KY football are a lot a like.........CG had 47 players too!:eyeroll:
08-13-2009, 10:54 PM
And actually looking at Bell Co. past games..........the boobcats have not exactly dominated a very weak upper TN team, Volunteer H.S. that's a typically 3-7, 5-5 team at best, in a very weak upper TN region.......

Like I said on CoachT.com Dudley Hilton is a very good coach and knows how to control the game clock. He has 3 State Championship and 325 wins. Would had a 4th one until Highlands used a inelgible player that year that scored on Bell with like a min to go in the game in the State Semi's. Highlands went on that year to win State.
Dudley is one of the best coaches in the state of Kentucky hands down, the guy knows how to win. Bell strongest thing is there Defense they had 8 shutouts last year and only like 80 points scored on them out of 15 games. This will be a close game either way if Bell wins or loses. Bells D will keep them in it to the very end.

Weak I think you talk to much crap, that something our O-line for sure is not. You sure better bring some tough players because I know Marcum, and Howard sure dont no the word Weak. We won that championship with a bunch of tough guys. :please: stop the dumb remarks on weak!! I guess you havent seen any of them have you. THE TRUE HURTS HUH? I stated the area of KY is weak in football as a whole (except Louisville area).....I'm not calling out individual players.
Just the same TN football will never compete again states like TX, CA, FLA, etc. Simple truth.
After the 21th......you will see the difference in a state championship from TN vs a championship team from KY.
