Sheldon Clark 2010

Maybe they were people from another school? And I'm pretty sure everyone around the football life at SCHS wants Channing to perform at his best. I hope the dude makes it the the NFL. So I can tell my kids how my little high school football team stopped him to 5 yards!

Supporters of another team is always possible, but who knows.

As I had mentioned earlier, I didn't see or hear any disrespect aimed at Channing.

The thought of your reproduction frightens me.

and btw, for those who think I come here and take shots at the guy, me and A-Ray are friends (despite where he goes to school) and talk alot away from BGR.
Does anyone know the exact date and time of the SC vs Nitro scrimmage? I have seen two different dates floating around, August 13 and August 14.

Thanks!
Its going to be August 13 and from what I have been told will strat around 7 : 30 and the season opener is the 21st.

ok lets get this straight.. using a the excuse this team is 5a and we are 3a and we dont match up because of that one reason is pathetic. either you are better then them or your not.. numbers dont matter its how hard you work and what kind of athletes your team is blessed with..

All that is mentioned above is definitely true; however, one metric was not mentioned, and that is the number of eligible males in a 5A versus a 3A. The foregoing does give the 5A an advantage.

thats true but smaller more talented schools beat 5a schools all the time. its all about talent and hard work.. not having as many players just means smaller school needs to put in a extra 30 min in the weight room everyday and all that does is make you better..

By your logic then if Pikeville worked out longer than Louisville Trinity then Pikeville would be able to beat the Rocks? Please......

There is a reason that we have classes in football. Football more than any other sport has ALOT to do with numbers. Now granted sometimes smaller schools can beat larger ones on a consistent basis (i.e. Highlands) but as a whole the more males you have to pick from the more athletes you have, the better your chances. Your logic makes little sense IMO.

notice i said earlier if the team was blessed with talent also. yes a 5a team has a better chance to have more talent.. i was just trying to say if you dont match up to a team and there better just admit it.. dont go and try to make excuses..
Sheldon Clark will surprise a few people in 2010. Debth could present a problem; however, I have heard that they have added a few additional players since the first day of practice.

Is this hearsay or is it a fact?
I just read this on another thread; it goes to show us that no matter how dark it is, great things can happen if, you "don't ever quit."

Default Three words
With serious practice underway for the 2010 season, remember three words: Don't ever quit. When things seem to be darkest: at the end of the season you are 3-6 with some disgraceful losses. You finish third in a weak district. Ten players have left your team. Three more starters fall to injuries. Your coach was publicly disciplined and briefly suspended after a few parents complained. Your booster club has no money. Just 15 fans show up at your last regular season road game. Morale is lower than a snake with bickering on the practice field. You're asking yourself standing in the cold sleet of late October,'Why am I playing?' Faced with all that, you could still win a state championship. Every word is true. Happened last year. Best of luck to every player who sticks it out in 2010. Don't ever quit.

ok man u must have never been 2 a sporting event. the goal of the crowd is 2 get into the players heads. its really all in good fun it makes the game better. i gurantee if fugate would have had 100 yds with a couple of td's im sure some of bobcat nation would have talked smack 2 the cards. when u play a home game u have 2 make sure the other team knows where they are. u came into the rock and didnt like what u seen. revenge is good for the sports 2. i hope 2 see bobcat fans yelling for there team. but i won't get on here and cry about heckling if we lose. good luck 2 ya cause we r bringing the ROCK to the riverbank

Will Sheldon Clark surprise a few people? I can't say that is fact; it is a strong feeling I have.

Regarding a few new players--fact!
How many players does Sheldon Clark have out so far?
Don Carlo Wrote:How many players does Sheldon Clark have out so far?

Um around 35 players daily.

You cant even start in on the fans, he was one of the top RB's in the state last year so he had a target on his back. I for one can say that Sheldon Clark has some of the best fans you will ever find. We support our team and we have respect for other teams to. I remember some of your fans being a lil sour after the game and say some things and I recall one woman flipping of the fans the team and the coaches on her way out, So before you call our fans out maybe you should look at your own. But to get back on track from what I've saw out of the Cards this summer it will be another great season.
lol bobcat is a cry baby( shut up),how did that sound coming from a card fan we might as well own up to being bad as- fans.

this is what he is saying. we do have some fans who act the way u do but so does every other high school in america. but u will see around 80% of sc fans r very classyfans but u always have a small percentage that you are embarrassed 2 see walk in the stadium

a lot of the crazy people are kids or newly graduated kids who don't even play sports for the school. Most of them are trouble makers to begin with. i've only seen a couple of crazy parents in my day

i agree that its mostly teenage kids. but hey i'm a teenager and hate seeing ppl act silly at games. im sure u have seen more then a couple of crazy parents in your day. lol i've seen a whole county of angry adults saying well sc brought there refs on 2 occassions last yr. yeah i know most bgr sc fans run their mouth but our boys deserved respect last yr they showed up when other teams didn't. i'm proud of my school but will never act like a punk for losing.(except when uk loses in bball) REMEMBER its just a game if u can't handle losing dont even show up
I think kp will be really good for the team this year..he works hard nd practices hard. he will be good if not better then last year and all the returning seniors will bring a challenge for all the other teams
The Viper *RKO* Wrote:I think kp will be really good for the team this year..he works hard nd practices hard. he will be good if not better then last year and all the returning seniors will bring a challenge for all the other teams

I also believe KP will do well in 2010. If you recall, he suffered a broken foot early in the season (third game) and didn't really get his game back until the third play-off game. So, let's look for some outstanding play from this young man in 2010.

SC has a group of very good (football) athletes that will perform well this year. Thus an extremely good season is a very promising possibility.

Oh, and another young man to watch: Taylor Chapman - he didn't get much recognition last year, but made some outstanding defensive plays.

Many of the guys on the team have played together since Youth League and that is another plus, I would think.

I would conclude that SC has a great opportunity this season. But performing in the heat of battle will render the final verdict. So, we shall see!

i agree that kp and all of the returning players will shock everyone this year starting with along trip to collins highs school in almost louiseville and then another trip to breathitt county which aint going to be much of a game sc getting the win of course:1: but nothing is forsure until the kickoff of 2010 season
