With Skyles healtly along with Ray and Mikie Moore in the backfield the running game should be just fine. SC plays a tough schedule early one so they should be battle tested once the district games roll around and we all know those are the most important. Can't waut until the Aug. 14 scrimmage at Nitro. Glad to be back, been away for a while.

Michael Hall, Nitro, was featured in The Charleston Gazette one day this week, as a highly talented running back for the Nitro team. Moreover according to the article, Nitro is purportedly a vastly improved team from last year.
Thus the Cards should get a fairly good test Saturday, August 14. I'm looking forward to it. I think that, just maybe, SC will display some exceptional talent, also. As a matter of fact, I'm counting on it.

I have heard a little about Michael Hall, that he has performed very well at some camps/combines. He has reportedly run a 4.52 40, but I have also heard that it was a 4.62. Who knows for sure? I don't recall his shuttle time but I think it was well above average.
August 14 will, I think, be interesting, for SC has some talented athletes with speed and strength. I've heard that they have worked extremely hard preparing for this year.

kristian runs a 4.46 40 and benches over 350 lbs so he is more than just speed and with avery in the backfield with skyles they r goin to be a great dou if they stay healthy but rb's cant make a team it takes team work and a good solid line to make holes for them to run through and we have austin stepp at qb and he has gotten faster and the defense is stronger than ever so i expect another great season hopefully bringing the state championship home to martin county:1:

I have heard the same; losing a player when you are thin never helps the program. I have, however, mixed comments about the situation.

I was too slow in editing the above. The second sentence should have read: I have, however, heard mixed comments about the situation.

Very impressive for a young man that missed a good part of the 2009 season due to an injury. Let's hope and pray that 2010 is an injury free year for Mr. Skyles. Good luck, KP.

this is true and a good thing because he is a good player but as coach hager tells everyone " we will win with you, and we will win without you" and that is a great qoute cause one player dont make or break a team it takes team work and determanation to win:1:

So true, one player does not make a team! Team work, determination, discipline, and the will to win is what makes a team.

One would have to respect you decision, for there is nothing more important than your health. Good luck going forward, and continue to be a "super SC fan."
