Belfry will be losing M. Bentley, G. Francis, J. Francis, D. Estepp, M. Mahon, J. Pruitt, S. Gibbs, J. Hardin, N. Carroll, C. Tackett and about 6 other seniors.... (not sure on all names but I will update when I can get them)... Concerning game time, Coach may start 3 seniors one game and then start 5 the next..... Belfry does have K. Fields, G. Runyon, T. Williams, T. Messer, P. Mullins, H. Dotson, R. Slone, T. Carr, A. Childers, T. Willis, J. Robinson, J. Dixon, S. Warren, and several others who are all underclassmen and will be back. IMHO, Belfry will be the team of always as these young freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are all great ball players! Not sure on their schedule for next year just yet as I dont' know how many years coach signed contracts with Whitley and Letcher.... ??? With the new alignment as well, things could look a whole lot different next year!

Belfrys schedule will at least have Sheldon Clark, Pike Central, East Ridge and Lawrence County simply because thats how the new district is shaping up for them in Class AAA.

I would also dare to say that Pikeville and Prestonsburg will also thrown into the mix..... who's to say the other teams listed on the schedule... Just wondering about the Letcher Central and Whitley County????

I don't see us resigning w/ Letcher & Whitley. I'd like to see the P-Burg & Pikeville games flipped on the schedule, and Ashland resigned.

That would be a great flip IMHO but I doubt it will happen. Ashland would be a good "re-sign" for the Pirates as well..... BUT, let the new season begin now...... and the Pirates put it all out there during the playoffs.... We need fan support, dedication, work ethic, and flat out football playing from the boys.... Hardcore!!!
