Pulaski Co. 36 Perry Co. Central 6
#31
PCC simply peaked too early this year. It's frustrating, but it happens.

Anyone see the pass interferance in the 1st half when Jay White got tripped and it didnt get called?

Sure did. But it was dark on that side of the field so i dont think he would've seen it anyway.

Did anyone see # 7 throw a punch, not once but TWICE, at #85 of Pulaski? Guess it was too dark for the refs to see that one too. Or the late hit on Logan Warren on Perry's sideline in the fourth quarter that actually drew a flag but wasn't marked off? Or #76 from Perry grab #43 from Pulaski, after the play was over, and throw him like a rag doll... right in front of the ref? Guess it just too dark to see all those things happen.
I'll trade you one missed pass interference call on Pulaski for ALL the cheap shots that were taken by Perry with no call.

Don't forget about #58 on Pulaski getting punched in the facemask by a Perry Central player, I think it was #13 but I'm not sure.

Nice one! Really not much you can say, huh? The truth hurts!!!

I was talking about seeing the ball to catch it... And you guys won by 31. Why complain about the offiating?

Your just complaining about a bunch of nothing. There's missed on both sides, the officials are not perfect. You don't have much to complain about anyway. Pulaski dominated there playoff game. Move on and stop complaining.

Wat about the cheap shot by pulaskis safety tht put pray out of the game? He used his helmet, and wasn't flagged.

That was no cheap shot..thats football. PCC could do that but no one on the team is mean enough to.

Thats called a good and legal hit with his shoulder pads, no helmet contact there!

If you go back and watch the play, Eastham had slipped and fell. He was on his knees trying to get up and Pray ran into him. There was no dirty play to it. I can post the play if you like, that way there is no confusion.
As far as complaining, I wasn't the one started the complaining, I was just setting some other Perry complainers straight. Again... TRUTH HURTS!!!!

This is the third year in a row it has happened and under two different coaches. If Perry Central doesn't win the district next year, they never will.

Who all does Perry lose from this years team?
I know they lose the following guys.
Axl Sizemore
Dylan Cornett
Alex Sizemore
Paul Hughes
Mitch Smith
Jeff Smith

Who will replace Axl and Dylan?

PCC will be loaded next year. They return the entire team almost. They have 16 juniors I believe and all of them start or play significant minutes.

Return: All the skill positions return on both sides of the ball, they even had a few sophomores that played a lot this year that will be back.

Perry SHOULD be loaded next year! I was very impressed with Robinson on defense. He was all over the field until he went out of the game. Any word on what happened to him?

He was playing with a hurt knee to begin with.

You don't have to make an excuse for him. It was a clean, legit hit.
And I wasn't the one making the excuses about the loss. I realized the truth midway through the 3rd quarter.

Shoulda figured that out when we were on the 2 yard line and couldn't punch it in.

Yep.

Not if don't start running the ball out of the "I" some more.
This Run n' Gun stuff doesn't seem to fly in high school sports.
The only place it works is with pansy west coast college teams.
I don't see why we use it.

I like the spread but I think you need some other formations. I dont see how Perry can be loaded next year losing several KEY offensive and defensive linemen. I know everyone is saying Dylans little brother 6'6-240 is coming out for football but everyone knows, if you have never played football in your life, you are not going to go out there and dominate.

Who will replace Dylan and Axe on the O-Line?
I wished Perry could find them a good sized back that can get 3 or 4 yards a pop. I think Rankin is a fine back but he isnt the type of guy to run over people. I wished Matt Robinson would hit the weights a little bit and bulk up some and maybe play some fullback next year or something. Doesnt he want to play offense?

The spread works fine for us but I just hate running out of shotgun.
You don't get a head start at the ball, the defense has some more time to get to you, it simply puts you in a bad spot.

If I was a coach I wouldn't run him both ways. He's too big of a player on Defense.
It's according to what you want to do though.....
there is no doubt he would succeed at FB or even just get him some 3rd down snaps at HB.

I'm not very optimistic about next year. Tired of going through the same thing every season.

good job Pulaski

Aslan Wrote:I'm not very optimistic about next year. Tired of going through the same thing every season.

me too..the last couple of years have been a huge let down..Perry loses a game and then quits the rest of the season.
#60
^We tell ourselves the same thing every year.
We're going to be good next year.
We need to break down and hire a coach with some rings and give some backing to the team.
But the way it goes in Perry.....
if it isn't round and you can't throw it in a hoop....
no one cares
