I just [CHAT] on BGR
I'm getting The Blue Knight's away jersey at the first of January, I'm***** I can't get it in time for the Loserville game. It'll be my first UK jersey ever..I'm excited!
.
Was just on Facebook and was enjoying using the POKE function!....I love to Poke and be poked!....I thought it would be neat if BGR had a similar function!....Tackle!

A little pop up box would say ..."You've been tackled by Filthy Animal!"

(first 3 people to comment on the fact that I Like to be poked wins a prize!...lol...j/k)

I want a Doron Lamb jersey. I don't know why but he is my favorite player on the team.
Is it me? Or is A Christmas Story the best Christmas movie ever?

He just might, but as Kobe is laying his smack down, Kobe will be watching his Lakers get beat by the greatest assemblage of talent known to man!

classic!
I have a super praise report.

My wife and I were driving from Brodhead (Rockcastle County) to Jamestown (the parsonage, about 5 miles from Lake Cumberland-Jamestown State Park) and we hit the snow storm.

We were about 9 miles from the Russell Springs-Jamestown exit with pouring snow. Suddenly a GMC Truck with a Camper started swerving all over the road, almost instantly the car behind us did too. My wife started crying and I was worried because that is almost impossible to avoid a 3 car pile-up. I carefully steered the car (which was almost impossible) around to the right of the first car and then back to the left to avoid the car behind us.

Needless to say all three cars just kind of drove about 5 miles per hour for a little while. I am guessing the passengers almost pooped their pants, lol.

THEN my wife and I (same trip, we were not dumb enough to get back out, lol) were on Hwy 1058 and got the car stuck in the middle of the road going up a hill. I had to pick it up and push it out of the ice chunk. Then we finally got home. Somewhere in the process, I lost my cell phone, but not my wife or my life.

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow. He spared our lives last night and I will never think any different. The angle of the two cars/truck SHOULD have hit us and caused a big disaster. Yet, through the grace of God, no car hit any car and all three cars at LEAST got off on the Russell Springs exit. We got home. God is so good.

Merry Christmas everyone. I guess when we celebrate the birth of Jesus, it is true and more evident to my wife and I today that the name Jesus is derived from Joshua, which means "The Lord Saves" and also Emmanuel means "God With Us" My wife and I know both of those names very well today.

Happy you made it home safe LWC. My grandfather was heading back to our cabin at Cumberland Point last night from a get together at my APT in Hazard. He said he made it to Somerset with out any problems but from Nancy to Cumberland Point he was lucky he made it. Said Russell Springs was really bad. To add to your emmanuel statement. All the time!!
