Heath @ Johnson Central 8/20
#1
JC 42
Heath 20

Jude has 300 or more and Eagles handle it easily.
#2
ALL Golden Eagles in this one! JC rolls!
#3
JC has a running clock by halftime. They roll easily.
#4
JC by 5 TD's
#5
A truly baffling match up. Why would you drive 6 hours to get thumped?

no way heath scores unless they take everybody off field...
#7
this will be a good start for jude on his way to the rushing title.........JC big in this one

i ask same thing,JC could have gotten any team around in tn,va,oh that would be better game than that...

This is a game that should never have been scheduled! I dont think Heath won a game last year and they are not expected to win won this year.

The mysteries are: 1. How long will bad sport Matney leave Jude in just to rack of meaningless yards.
2. How much did Johnson pay Heath to travel from the opposite end of the state for this massacre? It had to be one heck of a payday for Heath to agree, that much we know

20 points :dontthink I'm not sure they will score 20 all year. Atleast they get paid well for traveling 7 hours. Sorta like when a OVC team opens for a SEC team

Who was the smart one that decided to schedule this matchup?! Gotta be the worst scheduling decision of the season!!! Heath has to travel close to 400 miles from the opposite end of the state with the trip taking over 6 hours. Heath did not win any games last year and there best game was a 27-35 loss against a team in Calloway County that only won 2 games. I hope that they have improved from last year because they may not score. They might score if Matney puts the JVs in towards the end of the game.

Although it might be frowned upon, this would be a great game for Matney to let JJ Jude run wild and get closer to breaking the state rushing record. Jude could probably run for 400 yards in the first half and then just let him sit in the 2nd half.

Johnson Central - 49

Heath - 0 possibly 7 if they can score against Johnson Central's JV

LOSERS QUIT WHEN THEY'RE TIRED, WINNERS QUIT WHEN THEY HAVE WON

This coming from a guy whose team put up 75 points last year on Fulton County and 70 points two years ago against Caverna.

Since when did you come such a big expert on Heath? Have you actually seen them play or are you spouting off at the mouth and inserting your meaningless opinion like you do in most your posts? Normally I try to look over your "opinions" but I get sick of you lurking and talking out of your rear end on every Johnson Central thread. Every other Belfry fan on here is actually knowledgeable about football but you're the opposite. What gives? You either are not originally from Pond Creek or you've never played the game of football in your life.

I do not begrudge the Heath players - ever. They compete and sweat and hurt just like everyone else. But I am saying as fact that this is a epic mismatch. It is simply illogical unless JC was looking for weak early season opponents to pad their stats. I have the opportunity to see Heath play every week. The only other reason for this game is that it might have been a last minute opening because of all the adjustments Heath had to make in their move up fro 2A to 3A. But they could have found a team in southern Illinois, northwest Tennessee or Missouri for a heck of a lot shorter drive.

:please:Talk about spouting off at the mouth and inserting your meaningless opinion. Fulton is a district game and Caverna was a playoff game. Mayfield had no choice in who their opponet would be but JC and Heath do

Jude breaks the rushing record tonight.....

Nowhere in my post to YOU did I accuse Mayfield of intentionally scheduling Fulton County & Caverna. All I was stating is that you come on here and run your mouth about Johnson Central's head coach by saying he's a bad sport while your own coach put up 75 points against Fulton County and 70 points against Caverna. What I'm trying to say coach, is people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

This game was scheduled because JC only had 9 games and desperately needed a 10th. For all those who say they could've found one closer: trust me, Matney tried. Thus the games with Belfry, Logan, Clay, Perry. If your school's in EKY and isn't on JC's schedule, there's a real good chance JC called and your head coach said no, because many in the area did. Heath's got a new coach. They may surprise some people. Anybody who remembers what JC did in Matney's first season knows exactly what difference new leadership can make. At least Heath had the stones to say yes. There are many area coaches who won't. Some in VERY easy driving distance, if you catch my drift...
#20
Not sure why people are suprised, you should know Matney would schedule someone like this so that JJ can have a TON of yards. Wait and see... I dont care if JC is up by 40 Jude will be in till the final whistle blows and will carry the ball almost every down...
