You gotta wonder how much the ironton game took out of the devils and how long they will need to recover. Same can be said about Ashland after last week but cats have more depth.
Ashland 40
Evils 20

I think this will be a really good matchup. I look for Ashland to be the winner by a touchdown.

I hope this game wont be a blowout in ashlands favor from all the talk so far. It would really be a huge disappointment

Did the tigers have lots of speed on the corners? Not really.
Did the tigers throw the ball down field alot? No.
Did they have speed backs? Yes.
Did they have a QB that can scramble, throw and run? No.
This is what Ashland will bring. If Ironton played this style of football and the devils stopped them. Then the tomcats may have their hands full. Or did the tigers try to power everything and throw every now and then. If so that may be the devils strengths. The big question is. Can the devils match the speed of the tomcats?
If the devils can keep it under 20 points. They have a chance. If they can't slow down the tomcat offense. It will be another tomcat victory. The devil offense imo won't score more then 21 against the tomcats.
I hope it's close at the end. And the fans get their money's worth!
Got a feeling Ashlands speed and skilled players will be to much for the devils to handle. tomcats 38---devils 21 Good luck to both!
All about matchups!! Just dont think anyone should compare what the devils did in the Ironton game. Two totally diferent style teams!
Ironton will be looking for revenge after losing at Ashland 2 years ago.

And Ashland will be looking to prove that game wasn't a fluke but no more talking about the tiggers. Russell is too good to overlook

I think that one thing that has been overlooked is Russell suprisingly has been a second half team. Concerns about conditioning appear to have been for not. Russell has worn both opponents so far down and really owned the second half. That is a good sign but they can't afford to start slow again. If Russell gets off to a good start the Evils beat the Kitty Cats.

I really doubt that! I don't think we will see a team all year that's in any better condition. These kids worked there tails off in the off season in weight room they had huge turnouts for winter/spring conditioning 3days a week after school an 3 days in summer 3 hrs a day. And the depth really adds more problems for alot of teams, always got fresh legs coming into the game. But that's why we play the game to find all this out. No such thing, as a sure
thing!? Will see Friday....

Everyone keeps talking about the tough game Russell had last week.
Ashland played the second best team in the state of West Virginia. And had chances to win!

Ashland will have their way with the EVILS! Ashland is that good.

I don't see Ashland having their way with them but I do think that they will win just because they have way TOO much depth against the Devils.

Ashland is not that good. they are good for around here. That's about it. they will go nowhere come playoff time just like always. Ashland is the new Raceland because of the northern Kentucky region that they are in. They will beat Russell though. If Russell can't stop Ashland through the air it may be as bad as last year. Ashland does have a good team....Ashame it has to eventually play Highlands every year no matter how good they are.

Yea well not sure what happened there but you get the picture. Rambait took us from all that's bad to all that's good? Thought that was amusing.

Not exactly sure how you know they are the second best team in WV. If they were second best last year that does not make them second best this year. For all we know Ashland could be the first best this year.

Okay I get it now. Now they are the first best. So that must mean Ashland is the 4th best in KY. Now figure that out.

Rankings don't mean much to me, looked like a couple of u guys were having alot of trouble figuring it out? I really don't care just win week after week and it will take care of itself.

So Ashland plays the number 2 team in the state on WV and losses a close one. What do the AP guys do??? Drop them out of the top ten. Now that makes sense.

Ashland in a close one....22-18

Ashland wins 41 to 13
