8-2 at best. Noway Perry beats Harlan Co. Crossing my fingers Perry don't fade late in the season like we typically do. Would love to get that first playoff win and get that monkey off our backs.

Whitley is a scary game IMO.
Physical teams aren't a good matchup for Perry.

However I did see some fight in them against Rock.
They held up pretty well on the run FOR THE MOST PART.
Rock had to convert A LOT of 3rd and longs and 4th and longs.

PCC should be fine against Whitley.
Im sure Haddix will watch film on Whitley and figure out that all he has to do is pass.
WC is just so young and inexperienced, but especially in the defensive back field.
The only thing that WC has a shot at doing is chewing up clock and get 1st downs on 3rd and shorts. Whitley will do what theyve always done, run it up the gut. Its worked for a long times and with the fullbacks we produce, its not gonna change.
If PCC wants to be effective there going to have to tire Bryant early, but more than likely Bryant will just run over the much smaller PCC defense and it will be the second half when PCC starts to pull away. Either way, Whitley is a scary matchup for PCC. PCC hasnt done well with physical team and Whitley is just like Rock when it comes to physical and much better than when they played Rock.

Whoever talked about Rockcastle County in the 4A Semi's against Cov Cath and Highlands, remember they have to get by teams like Russell County, Knox Central, Boyle County and Lexington Catholic, just to get TO the semi's. That side of the 4A bracket it brutal!

I'm not going to go that far, but Knox isn't hitting on all cylinders yet. If they pull it together it could easily be a 3-way race. I do think that all three teams will make a good showing against District 5 come playoff time. I don't think this will be the normal 1st Round playoff game between these two districts, and the 2nd round games should be awesome for that early in the post season.
