Wales is slower than JJ, He is smaller than JJ and JJ is stronger than Wales. All are proven facts based on their track times, their weight lifting records and their height and weight. I am not questioning Wales toughness. What I am saying is that it is extremely difficult to stay healthy with this many carries. And JJ plays against D1 players as well.

More offers should come in for Jude, but I think he is seeing what he can get via wrestling scholarship. He was state champ last year, and if he wins it this year(which he should), maybe he could get a D-1. I heard that Ohio St is looking at him.

U know what....I speak with a lot of college coaches & the next one I speak with I'm going to ask a lot of questions (without giving kids names) regarding the two. Who cares? This is about JJ Jude, not Wales. Both are tremendous players and will have a chance to play on Saturday. That's if Jude chooses to pursue football (D1 offers from Liberty and EKU, talking to a few bigger schools) or he chooses to wrestle (offers from Va Tech and a few other big programs). Congratulate the boy that worked his tail off or don't say anything at all. At the end of the year it doesn't matter who played where, it will read Jude #1 and Wales #2 for the all-time rushing leaders in KY history. That's pretty dang good.

Def dont count wales out...but its a very long shot. right at 1000 yards behind with somewhere between 2 and 4 games left, while jude still has at least 1 game. I also believe it will read #1 JJ Jude #2 Anthony Wales. Congrats to Jude and here's to wishing him luck in repeating with wrestling.

^ I'd say Wales has not chance at this point. JJ gets his 150-200 this week, which would mean Wales would have to average 300 yards per game. It's JJ's to stay!

Do u even know WTH u talkn about. The name is WALES!!!!! Do u know Wales personally?? I think not. Like I said b4 it's great he holds the record. No one is trying to take that away from him. Wales was also a star on the hardwood but he chose to focus harder on the gridiron. He was a part of the central team that went to the finals 3 years ago & he was only a freshman!! So do ur homework b4 u go throwing stones!!!! Once again, to Jude congrats & I'm done with the subject!!!!

So the Cincinnati metro is rural? Wow. The geography learnin' must be pretty good over in the west end.

P.S. How much defense does Wales play? Because Jude is in at DB about every snap too, and is probably the second hardest hitter on the team after Sanor.

If Jude gets 200 this week, then there is a good chance Highlands' run of state titles will end. I see 100 to 150 yards as much more likely and if JC turns the ball over a few times, it is unlikely that he will break 100. JC needs to take care of the football and get some early production from a couple of its youngsters to take some of the focus off of Jude.

I didn't know Va Tech had a wrestling program. Glad he is getting D-1 offers in wrestling. I think he pinned the guy in the state championship match in like 1:00+. Heavy favorite to win it again.

JJ is just an all around outstanding young man. He holds several offers from ACC schools for wrestling. One school in particular that is courting him hard for his services on the mat is Duke University. It takes a special individual to even get looked at by this school due to their high academic and character standards. JJ is an excellent student that not only works hard in the classroom but in everything that he attempts. I am honored to know him and his family, as they are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Congratulations young man on this well deserved award and never lose your drive in life to be the best.
