I look for Bell Co. to win. I believe they are a little better than Central, as long as they take care of the ball.
Good luck to the Bobcats from Redhound country. Hope to see you bring the crown back to Log Mtn.

Not mistaken I have heard the cheerleaders and parents will have one also.

When a hollow of bell county averages multiple murders a week, and robbery is the norm, then you can say you will be right at home. This is an inner-city school, the people here and the players are extremely friendly, but the areas around this school are not.

Tica Wrote:Bell should approach this game with humility because they could be humbled. You have not seen Central's speed just like Belfry had not seen it last year. You will be playing this game in an area of Louisville where there can be 2-4 murders a week, plus armed robberies and assaults. You think Central kids are flustered by some trash talk on a bulletin board or Twitter? To Bell fans: Central's field has only about 25 or so parking spaces. After that, you are on your own on the street. Security and protection should be a priority for you and your families. Do not leave valuables in your vehicles. This is not directed against Central fans or staff who are great, the field is just in a really bad area of Louisville.
With all due respect to Belfry, Bell was a MUCH better team than them.
They wont be shell shocked with speed because Bell also has it.
If Bell gets by Central, look for them to blow out whoever comes out of the east side just like Central would.

Ever who comes out of this one will be beat up

DSRfan Wrote:Got a question. Presuming you do beat Central, how many
bus loads do you think will go to PADUCAH? And realistically,
how long would it take to make the trip? 8 hours? You can't
just put 35 kids on a bus and drive for 6 hours without stopping.
I haven't really looked, but there HAD to be SEVERAL different
options for aligment here. Heck, what teams other than
Belfry are further from Paducah than Bell Co.? ( I know
there are other possible outcomes for the playoffs, just
citing the most extreme here, Central to Paducah ain't no joy ride)
its because of how the teams fall.
There are SO MANY 3A football teams in the east compared to the west.
Thats why teams like Bell and Corbin are in the west. There is only one 3A region west of Corbin or pretty much there is only one region west of I 75 while the other 3 are all teams east of I 75.

Ill admit when Im wrong, I was thinking a bus cheerleaders was a given. Counting cheerleaders and players, I could realistically see 6 buses headed toward central friday.

Did I say That I have lived in Compton Nor acted like I represent something thug? No I did not, I was telling Bell County fans that the neighborhood around central doesn't represent our School and Players, the people and the Administration, that shows a level of immaturity on your part, and taking my sentence of talking about the neighborhood surrounding Central to make it sound like I was attempting to Act Thug. I never even compared it to Compton, re-evaluate sentences before making immature responses. On a side note, Go yellow jackets! Good luck to bell, going to be a great game!:1::rockon:

As an ole mountain boy who lived and worked in Louisville for a while I will say what this guy says is true. Stick as close to Broadway as possible and do not go further West then you have to. Some of the nicest people I ever dealt with were from the West End of Louisville, but at the same time I also my fair share of people who we're waiting for someone to start trouble with them.
Just be smart. Stick to well lit areas and don't run your mouth and you will be fine. As the street numbers go up, the more dangerous it gets. Also don't try to use Dixie Hwy or Hill Street if you get lost. Just find Ali Blvd or Broadway and take it back to downtown.

Louisville Central 35-14. Too much speed for Central, too long of a trip for Bell. Davenport can run with Central but the Bobcats will be too fast on defense for his blockers. I'm rooting for Bell County but they are up against it this week.

Know that both Louisville Central and Bell fans are excited about this game. Can hardly wait till friday. Both teams are strong in their own ways and each has much support. I know that coaches will have their teams well prepared because no one wants to go home without a win. Each team should have the respect of the other and the other's fans for both has earned the right to play in this regional championship game and either could pull out the victory. This may very well be the game that showcases your state champion. Excited for a hard fought match and hoping our boys from Bell pull away with the win. I think half of the county is packing up for the trip. :Thumbs
ULLING FOR THE BOYS IN BLUE AND WHITE. BRING IT HOME BOBCATS!

Fan of both teams, but I'm going with Central by a TD
11-13-2011, 08:26 PM
Hope the Bobcat defense can contain Wales. They'll need to be really prepared or it's going to be a long night. With that said, I think Coach Mills will have his boys ready and the Bobcats are going to win it all this year.

I've watched X play a couple times this year. They aren't the X teams of the past. Big and slow and do not excute very well. :truestory:

True to some extent.... definitely think X is a little "down" compared to past teams. With that said, they defeated Cincy St. X and played Moeller tough on the road. Elder is surprisingly towards the bottom of the GCL teams and Highlands barely squeeked by. In order to beat a GCL team you have to truly be an elite level team in Kentucky and with all due respect to Bell I don't think they would hang within 4 TD's of Cincy St. X

Sounds like it will be a great atmosphere for football. Can't wait for Friday night.
