How can you say "to be honest here" when you have no clue what your talking about. Since there is no way to prove your theory that Central this year is "better" than Boyle has been the last 3, one could only use a rating site like Calpreps. Well, I did that to test your little baseless theory and Central didn't come within 18 points of Boyle. For what it's worth, I knew your post was full of it when you started out questioning the Bell county fan base. Your not going to find many teams that has such a loyal following as the Bobcats.

What central player are u saying turned to drugs & crime. Off the team I coached in 94-97 we have 1 high school principle, 4 attorneys out of our law program, 2 physicians from our medicine magnet, just off that team , TICA u didn't answer my question regarding the # of fans we bought to Paducah for centrals lone 3a loss . Now show a picture of our stadium against a foe from Louisville . 3a is not something the city of Lou is interested in. Show the crowd against X, Ballard , manual ect.

The boys from Bell ARE NOT gonna' be intimidated by a bad neighborhood. Seriously, how many Louisville locals from that same neighborhood are gonna' sit up in a tree stand all day in the freezing cold?
Enough about bad neighborhoods and deer hunting, about the game. I think Bell will give Central a style they have not seen or faced. No, Bell and Belfry have very different styles, Bell is a power team-Belfry is an option team. Belfry will read your defense( no knock on Belfry, they do a great job with it)-Bell will run it right at you. Everybody has that "bad match-up", I think Bell's style is a bad match-up for Central. Central has not seen a style like what Bell county does. Central is a GREAT football team, absolutely. I think Bell county is a bad match-up for them because of what Bell does. Bell county 28 Central 21...
I just have a gut-feeling it's gonna' be a Bell/Breathitt state finals. ( I know there's a high probability I'm wrong lol)

I'm not offended by rationally presented and defended positions.
I don't care for statements that then just lay there and when the time comes to defend them, no defense is given or provided.
For example the statement was made how much better Central was last year than Boyle.
Facts: Boyle defeated Lafayette 40-0 a team that Central only managed to defeat by a TD.
Facts: Boyle sported the Mr. Football for the state (regardless of class) and several other talented kids (Cook, Hester, Cox, etc) who had defeated Christian County (5A Finalist), Johnson Central (5A semi-finalist), Danville (1A semi-finalist), and Corbin (2A semi-finalist).
Facts: Central defeated only 4 winning teams the entire year. Of the six losses they had, 3 were losses to teams with losing records. So basically they played bigger competition in Louisville, but biggers doesn't mean better.
Just an example of what prompted my responses. BTW Coachdad, I like reading your posts.

My program from SR's senior year shows his TD's to be 95. Don't really know if that's accurate or not

Bell will dominate on the ground and 3-4 yard them to death then davenport or polly breaks one for 60 yards, I dont care how fast central is once hes in the open field hes gone! Bell has a quick and tough D-line and have the speed to run wales to the sideline. Once they pound on him 3 or 4 times he'll give up just like jj jude did last year.. who has the state record for rushing yards

2 Great match ups in the Game:
1) Wales vs the Bell Run D
2) Francis vs Davenport
Bell's D is good and will bring it.
Davenport is good, and he will go head to head with a futher D1 player in MLB Francis, a soph.
The wet field will be a big advantage for Bell.

Bell's fullback will blow up centrals MLB theres no way they can stop bell's offense nobody on there entire defense weighs over 200lbs Miller will kill those linebackers.

its been like that for Central,as one stated on here last year ,i think it was coachdad, saying there is so much to do in Louisville, that they go other ways besides the games,Belfry had 4x times the people both times they played,so the big crowd dont bother them,as they have 3rings and looking for the 4th..

I am a Rock fan but Bell is one of those teams that you never want to bet against (ask Harlan). I say Bell Co. 24 Central 14. Bring it home to the mountains Bobcats.
That is exactly where I think Bell is in trouble. I do not think that their offensive line is fast enough to block Central's defense to give Davenport the angles he needs to be successful. He is a great back but he isn't going to wear down a defense by pounding the rock 30 times between the tackles. He has to have some big plays and that you isn't happening against Central's speed. If Bell is to win they will have to win the field position game and turn Central over. They will be not run it right at the Yellow Jackets with Davenport and win.

KHSAA has him at 97 tds. If he had 95, davenport has already gotten him.
Davenports stats as of this week according to khsaa+newspapers from 2 boyle games. (KHSAA stats for 13 games the last 2 seasons for bell)
536 rush attempts 5379 rushing yards 86 rushing tds
17 receptions 309 receiving yards 5 receiving tds
5 return td's

I know. And I am rooting for the Bobcats. However, how many games do they win against the really good teams if he is bottled up? He had around 250 yards in their loss to Lexington Catholic. If Central holds him to 125 on 30 carries can the Bobcats win? I don't think so.

Do the Bell Co fans believe that Davenport is better than Ace Wales?
Francis is very good and will play D1 Football in a couple of years. The game will be fun.
I have no dog in the fight, so I can just watch and enjoy.

Id like too see your accomplishments and for your information. 7 kids on that team went on to play ball.....devon foster plays at campbellsville and runs a sub 4.5 dont be suprised if he transfers to a bigger school soon . and we did stomp paducah tilghman in the regular season that year who went on to win state...much much more than you madisonville maroons will ever do....
