with about a min to go johnny hit a three to put us dawn by one then jc came dawn and missed the front end of a 1 and 1 ray got the rebound tony pushed it up the floor gave it to johnny he shot a 3 missed it ray got the rebound and put it back in then jc got the ball back johny stole the ball from shane hall and johny was going for a fast breake layup and i dont know who is was but they grabbed his jersey and pulled him dawn backwords ( which should have been a foul but wasent called) and as he was falling he threw the ball up it hit the backbourd and a jc player had it he threw it dawn court to a wide open player but befor he could make the layup the clock ran out it was awsome

No offense to the coaching staff over there at JC but it might be past time for a new direction, they have had a lot of talent come throught there with nothing to show for it and now lose to ER? Keep in mind they lost to Cordia and Phelps this year.

Great job warriors!! First time I've got to watch Shane hall play, really impressive. Super athletic.
#12
The Hall should go somewhere so he could play in the state tourney

Kasongo out played and had more athleticism then Hall. For all of you who said "he's average" or something of that nature, you really missed his D1 performance. If he played that way the entire season, East Ridge would be a top 10 team in the state.

top 10 in the state? get outta here.

You forgot that other part. You know the most important part of the the whole statement that without it I seem silly.

Please...Kasongo can't guard my car when it's not moving' he has all the ability in the world, but his attitude over shadows it all. To make it to the next level you have to play defense and he can't, lazy or not, he is just lazy... It doesn't matter how many dunks you get when the player you are guarding has 20 and you have 10...then you are not doing your job. If ER wants to compete for a District/Region Crown...Kasongo needs to stay on the bench when it comes to playing defense, because he is horrible defensively. If he doesn't come to play Tuesday, Belter will wear him out!!!!

Statement retracted.

You do an awful job.
#21
What do you mean??? Real Badman???
#22
Awful job, what do you mean?
#23
I think if Ray played like that all the time that ER would be a top 25 team in the state, and definitely the best in the region, but I won't go as far as top 10...the kid has the skills, just has to grow up a bit. He will with time.

Anyone got stats? I had assumed that Shane Hall didn't play after hearing what Kasongo did tonight, but guess he did...I'd like to see their stats, and definitely Tony Wolter's and Johnny Miller's.

playing hard for 3-4 mins of the game and having a couple dunks does not equal a D1 performance. Hall was definitely the better player.
#26
^ This is true... Amazing how much the "D1 player/performance" is thrown around on here when the reality is it is a rare occasion to see anyone from the mountains make it to the D1 level, much less play.
#27
BTW, congrats ER, I must say I am a bit surprised at the outcome of this one. I figured it would be a close game, but figured JC would come out on top.

Have to question that fact. Hall had 22 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. If this game had been at Central or on a neutral court, the Eagles would have won by 10+. Two potential technicals for slamming the ball after a foul and another for jumping in a referee's face to object a call were overlooked. Add the mauling of Shane Hall on the inbounds pass with less than 10 seconds in the game. Typical case of officials swallowing their whistles with less than 2 minutes to play.

Johnson Central must be down this year. East Ridge beat them.
