does anyone have any details? i wasnt there but heard that lc dominated. heard the score was something like 15-1. heard the varsity for both teams played about 6 innings and the score was 10-1. if this is all true i think many will begin to rethink putting the nail in the coffin of lawrence county this year. if anyone was there and has any details please share.

May be somewhat decieving as I have been told that East has a decent team this year. Dont have any data but understand that Joe Wallen had a pretty good little outing on the mound. I Understand that the Dawgs have a second outing against HHS in Huntington tomorrow evening.

Lawrence County did indeed come away 10-1 victory when varsity squads left the field. Both teams are young, with a lot of work to do. The Bulldogs started Joe Wallen who threw a pretty good game, then Eric Salyers pitched in relief. Both seemed to do pretty good. 8th grader Austin Bailey also pitched late and this kid is going to be really good. Offensively Junior Clark Rice had a good game not only from the plate, but throwing out 3 runners as well ( 2 at 2nd, and 1 at 3rd). Joe Wallen had big game offensively as well, I believe he had 5 RBI total. Sophomore Adam Cavins almost hit his first home-run of the season ( a shot down the left field line that just was a few inces away from being a fair ball.) This team is loaded with young talent, and speed.. Great scrimmage for LC....
* Ethan Daniel also had a really good defensive game at 3rd base.

LC Bulldogs did really well in the scrimmage game against East Carter. They have a lot of young talent and I think they will surprise teams with their speed and aggressiveness. Adam Cavins and Joe Wallen are the present and the future for LC Baseball. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LC Dawgs have a lot of talent on their team it seems to me. Shouldn't put all the faith in two boys. There are 9 boys on the field-not two!
