Charles Eric Waugh, 31, of Ashland, Ky. In 2008, Waugh pleaded guilty to five counts of possession of underage sexual content. And this year, across Twitter, he contacted several Ohio State coaches athletes, and even recruits, including Anzalone. He also posed for photos with some of them.
This individual is not associated with Ohio State. He is not a booster. He has not engaged in any activities on behalf of the University. The Department of Athletics will continue to monitor this issue and it will remain proactive in its efforts with regard to precautions for its student-athletes.''

Oh my gosh. This guy went to Church with me from the time I was four years old until I was about 8 or 9. This is nuts!!!

Anzalone comes off as the biggest idiot. How in the world are they (OSU) supposed to control that. The guy came to the spring game and had his picture taken with some players and recruits just like I'm sure a lot of other people did.
There are sex offenders in every state. This one just happened to have poor enough taste to be a buckeye fan.

OSU dropped the ball on this one. Major D-1 schools pay dearly for people to monitor ALL social media contacts and communications for scholarship athletes and athletic team members. Kentucky has two people who do it full time. This character should have been flagged and he should have been vetted before he was ever permitted to be in pictures with team members and or recruits. Its a profound embarrassment for OSU and its gatekeepers.

Will the sex offender get in any kind of trouble for this?

^
Good point.
I would assume that some of these recruits were under 18 when he seen them.
Thats already a parole violation right there.

^ I talked to my Ashland contact this morning. He told me that the offender has been arrested. He was making Twitter accounts under false names, and to my contact's knowledge he was not supposed to be on Twitter at all.
