Thanks bud! I tried to post some Rock highlights on a website the other day and a few were from the Estill game last fall, but, it wouldn't let me post the video. I'd say where it has music that is copyrighted associated with it was the problem. It's a pretty cool video that the manager girls put together for the banquet. Take care.

You can usually post videos. I don't think Estill posts there highlights, I know they video them but they don't post them or anything

I tried to post it again today. They just won't let it go...it has some audio from a movie in it and a few songs. I guess they won't let it fly for fear of copyright infringement. I might try to post it on Youtube sometime. I've heard so many bad things about posting on there though that I stay away from it.
By the way...I saw you at the Madison Central vs. Rockcastle baseball game yesterday, but you seemed busy talking so I left you alone.

I heard Damien McDaniel broke the schools 40 record. also heard Jacob Bustle is back after siting out last season, he will be a big help.

Damien did break the record according to my older son. Said he ran a sub 4.4 on the track and 4.43 at the high school. He played hurt the last part of the season last fall. Jake is back, let's hope he can stay healthy as well. They are going to need his help on defense more than offense. He played hurt a lot as a freshman and I thought he was done and in his case, didn't blame him for quitting. Best of luck to both boys!

I believe y'all that he is the fastest, but I do not believe the 4.43. I'm sure that is what they clocked, but they must have done it wrong.
People like Gay from Lexington Catholic ran 4.1/4.2's and they are skinny and what body fat they do have is ripped. Damien is not fat by an stretch of the imagination, but he is not built like that.

A 4.43, that is awesome, Rock should win plenty of games this year with this guy running this fast. I dare say no one has this speed, who times these guys, are they going to combines or is it done by a coach. If they have two of them, then if they don't get to a state championship game then is the season a failure due to lack of? I bête not one team around has a couple of guys running that fast.

As I stated early on in this thread, the question of who the workhorse will be is still up in the air. Damien was clocked by the coaches at that speed, I'm sure there is room for error, but, I think he was clocked a couple of times near that speed. I hope he can stay healthy. He ran the bases for Rockcastle in several games this year in baseball while waiting for his release to play. I'm not sure what Jake can run, but, he was very fast coming up. Rockcastle is going to need all the help they can get to replace the departing seniors on defense.

I would think we woukd open it and pass more this season, but when has Rock ever passed the ball much. We have a really good QB and some good players to catch it, we will have to see. This team has the skill to win 8 or 9 games.

The McDaniel kid is the one with the speed. Bussell is fast, but, not nearly as fast. McDaniel played baseball instead of track, though he didn't get to play much for recovering from surgery for an injury sustained during football. He did run the bases pretty regularly for pitchers and catchers. Boys track at Rockcastle is pretty much an afterthought and most kids that do run track are primarily using it to stay in shape and work on speed. The football team kids are usually in weight room in the spring or doing spring practices, so, not many go out for track. The girls team regularly competes for championships and is usually pretty talented under the guidance of Mark Brummett.

The Rock had no answer to Montgomery Co. QB. He ate them up. They only lost 1 Starter this year. Mark this game down as a huge lost. The Rock does not play anybody other than MCHS or Russell

I do believe that Rockcastle had several starters out in the Montgomery County game. That had a little to do with the loss.

I wouldnt look to much in to this. Rock had 6 starters out of the Montgomery game due to the fact of suspension from the week before and a couple of injurys. Go a head and mark it down. Rock players will feed off of this.
