No. Joker will be fire by the 7th game of the season. Minter will be in charge until the end of the season. Then they will hire another sub par coach.

We would be vigorous competitors in the MAC or Sunbelt. I'm sorry, but every time I see Joker in public, he exudes the persona of someone who rationalizes and makes excuses for losing. I want someone like James Franklin, who can light a fire and show some emotion and who expects to win.

I think UK wins 2 games this season, and 4 will be the peak for as long as Joker is coaching in Lexington. I dont look for Kentucky to ever seriously challenge for an SEC championship in football, but Joker leading the program is a huge step backward, and UK fans deserve an SEC-caliber coach. I think Joker is a good person and a likeable guy, but he is not SEC head coach material, and it was a potential program-killing mistake the minute it was announced he was "head coach in waiting" ..There is no excuse for UK to not have an SEC-caliber coach in Lexington. None whatsoever. And dont give me the "yeah but Joker beat Tennessee!"...Yes, Kentucky beat Tennessee, and nobody was as happy as yours truly, but lets get down to it, but there wasnt a team in the conference that couldnt have beaten the Vols that day. I want Kentucky to be good in football. Yeah, Im the biggest Bama fan in the world, and you all are probably wondering why Im off on a tangent, but I know that Kentucky football fans deserve better than this. This season will be one to forget. Zero conference wins, and a waxing by Louisville, and Im afraid this is a sign of things to come.
