Its early, but I like Pburgs chances agianst Perry Central. There is no question they can put alot of points on the board, even with thier young quarterbacks.Can they stop the run?Pburg has Kidd,who was out most last season,the Griffith bothers,Grigsby and Mullins,in the linebacker rotation.They all have good size and decent speed.The d line will be big,but young.D backs,Williams,Jarrell,Anderson..3 of the best athletes in the mountains,IMO.

I have not been able to get down to the field house in a while. Does anyone know why we have 2 home games scheduled with Pike Central this year?

From what I have been hearing they are indeed playing a home and home this yr with Pike Central. Both teams needed another game so they will play twice.

The blackcats should be favored to win their district, but I think they will have some challenges. I know the Anderson kid has been playing summer ball, but will coach put him at quarterback, or did jarrell win it already.

I can't wait to see what coach does with the offense this year.

IMO, Anderson will be at RB & Jarrell & Grigsby will by your QB's.

According to some talk and facebook Williams isn't a happy camper right now. Not sure what the outcome will be but word has it he may not be playing and stated "Let's see how good they will be without me". Looks like another year of drama.

I hope all this is a crock of shit. If Anderson is out that will be a tremendous blow to the team. If Williams really has this attitude no matter how good he is it would be nothing but trouble for the team as a whole.
Lets just hope this is all rumors.

If anyone has concerns about there team they should take it to the coach and not post it on here. It will only cause trouble for the team. the players look at this site regularly and true or not it could still affect thier heads. Just say'in.

I hope the drama goes over. BEcause this team can be very good and also with the Jarrell kid playing his first year as a QB and leader of this team would be very difficult.

The team is fine, they looked pretty good at Lex. Catholic yesterday.They looked a little rough in pool play but played well in bracket play beating South Laurel nearly beating Frankfort.
