Even though it will get ugly early, I definitely want to go watch the Morehead St @ EKU game.

They last played in 2008. It was an uncomfortable close game with EKU winning 16-8.

I look for the Colonels to have a great season, possibly their best since 1994 when they last won a playoff game. I have season tickets this year so I hope it's a great one.

I was at that game. I remember that game very well. They beat Boston U. That was a good team. John Sacca, who transferred from Penn St. was the starting QB that season. That was the best EKU team while I was there.
Enjoy the game this year at Roy Kidd stadium. I will not get to go to any due to moving to NC. I always enjoyed going to games at EKU.

While EKU will be favored over MSU by double digits, I wouldn't bet on it getting ugly fast. MSU has a great offense led by a pre season all american qb.

That may be but EKU returns 17 of 22 starters off last years OVC Championship team including 8 all OVC players. They lose 4 defensive starters off last years team that played pretty decent. One of those starters may be replaced by a transfer from Virginia Tech. The Colonels also return 10 starters on offense including their starting qb who will be a 4 year starter, their leading rusher who rushed for 1445 yards last year, and their leading receiver.

Anything can happen though. We will have to wait and see.

EKU will be loaded thats for sure but MSU matches up or is better at alot of skill positions. Advantage at qb, wr's and kicker is MSU. Eku has big time advantage at rb. But we all know that the games are won up front and eku should dominate the very young lines of the Eagles. Maybe after the Purdue gams EKU may be a little flat. Hopeful lol.

I'm not familiar with MSU's team at all, but Tyrone Goard is ranked the number 9 player overall in the Small College Top 100 Player Rankings.
