Not sure what your confussed about, the Canady Kid received his second Full-ride offer. Wofford was the 1st to offer and EKU was second to offer. Really not that complicated, this kid is getting looks from several D-1 schools, so you find it hard to believe EKU would not jump all over him given the chance. :insane: I hope this helps..............

I talked to my buddy today from Knox Co., he said Louisville and Kentucky were both at Knox Central Friday and Western was there to today. EKU was there last tuesday I think he said. Canady is around 6'1 about 210. He plays RB-WR--OLB -SS--and punter. 4.5 40 maxed 405 bench 500 squat 300 power clean. great hands-tough kid- I saw him take over the Boyle Co. game the second half had 170 yds in the second half. Knox still come up short, but not for lack of effort.:rockon:

Candy is getting a lot of attention from D1 schools Miss St., KY, Louisville,Wisconsin, East ILL. Notre Dame, Duke,WKY and more that I can't remember he is a great player

Congrats to him! Always root for these EKY kids to get noticed by D1 schools. There's plenty of talent in these mountains, but no one wants to come watch it. Had he been in the city he'd easily have 3-5 D1 offers in hand by now. Very talented kid

Canady is a deffinate 4.5, he is just learning how to play running back though. Would make a really nice D-1 reciever.

Let's see. Corbin and Knox have week zero games which means 1 scrimmage. Knox and Corbin are scheduled for SEKC scrimmage this week. Interesting!

I think they were another team with them also wasn't they? Seems a awful lot of illegal scrimmages took place this year. Or is it just that more people have told on themselves than years past? Heard about a lot of 7 on 7 also after the first practice?

On Rivals his 40 is listed at 4.6. Uh, which is very good.

Canady was clocked at UK at a 4.52 at EKU 4.55 at WKU 4.55 At Wofford 4.53 at Furman 4.54 UL 4.56 40 yds

20 yd shuttle 4.0 at 3 of those schools and a 3,9 at EKU

6.65 l-drill at Furman and 6.68 at UL

Canady to my knowledge has 4 offers now.
He has verbally committed to EKU.

UL and several other DIV.1 Schools want to see him play OLB this year thats were 8 D-1 schools have him listed at. this will be Canadys first season playing OLB. So I would expect at least 3 D-1 offers coming after they see him at that position this season. A good buddy of his told me he really likes EKU and their Coaches.

I saw Canady play at Rowan during the playoffs 2 years ago, and he was tough to stop. One hell of a back. Wish him the best this season
