Betsy Laynes passing game should be good . But Morgan should be able to keep the QB on the move I got Morgan in this one.

Morgan plays at Betsy Layne. tomorrow night 8/10/12.. I believe there will be 3 different scrimmages that night.. i saw a practice the other day and Morgan lost some great talent last year, but have a lot of experienced players coming back. They also add a lot of freshmen and some muscular looking new upperclassmen who look like they have been in the weight room since the winter... Crase looks like one big muscle and I heard they got a transfer from Breathitt. I guess we will have to see what happens...

Started as a 10 and 10, then went game type scrimmage. Morgan scored 7 times total, Betsy Layne scored 3 times total.

Morgan 5 betsy layne 3 final. Not sure if fnl counted the two called back. Morgan scored 2 on 10 play and Betsy layne scored one. Real game scenario Morgan scored 3 to Betsy laynes 2.

Morgan ran the ball very well, 4 different backs scored. Qb Collins for Morgan hit 3 nice deep balls. Holbrook, Thornsberry, Crase all had big runs for the Cougars. Betsy Layne has a very nice passing game. They hit Morgan with two big pass plays. Morgan brought alot of blitzes, several times they got to Betsy Layne's qb, but several times they got to him and didn't wrap him up and finish the deal. In 10 and 10 Morgan scored 4, Betsy Layne 1, In game scrimmage it was Morgan 3, Betsy Layne 2.

Morgan is getting to play at home this year. They are still working on the field...putting up the lights..field goals.. bleaches and the field has been cleaned 36 inches down and looks good.

For those of you at the game on Friday, can you tell me why there was a descrepancy as to why they called a penalty on Morgan and the coach, 2 of Morgan players and the officials had to meet?? I was told the officials called a penalty and after getting the rule book out, the officials were wrong??
