Because of the almost nonexistent audio connection, I don't know how all this transpired, but do know that the halftime score was 26-13 Sheldon Clark.

Man, I would've loved to watch this instead of Belfry beating some scrub by 40 at the half...

Good job Pburg...looks like I was wrong about you boys this year.
#5
I was at the game. I thought Workman got in the end zone at the end for the Cardinals, but maybe I was wrong. Great game by both teams.
#6
Great game, I was there as well and I couldnt tell if he got in or not but regardless this was a great game and after 2 games im impressed with this young Blackcat team. These boys from the Burg are going to make some noise this yr.
#7
Very controversial call at the goal line to end the game. You honestly could not tell from the stands and anyone who says they could see for sure, is lying. Excellent game all together with tons of momentum changes. There were a lot of flags but thats expected early in the season.
#8
looks like SC has been underrated by many, i will say i am one that did for sure..
#9
I was really impressed with the P'Burg QB. He really kept the chains moving for them. Tyler O'Conner WOW what a monster game.
#10
Wow, imagine a great game ruined by the classless people of the Prestonsburg Blackcats. Not only did they not allow SCHS to dress at their field but a truely classless Dave Butcher had to try and add salt to a wound and lock the gate at the end of the field, and say it was a rule, only to allow them to leave after a heated exchange. Prestonburg fans don't be surprised if you have to park miles down the road when you come to our place. Looks like Sheldon Clarks future is bright, with Butcher and workman and many others. Tyler O'Conner may be the hardest runner in the region.

I dont mind to walk... If you all will add some visitors seating so that next year when we come over there we can see the game.
I understand parking isnt great at Pburg, but we prob have one of the best set ups for the visitors going. You have great seating and never have to worry about not being able to see.... so you have to walk a little bit. Whats the big deal, you knew that before you came.

As for the game, great win for Pburg. But this team is gonna have to show up at the start of games, cant get down every week and expect to come back.
#12
I been going to Pburg games for yrs and I have always parked across the road at the food stamp office. Not sure what the big deal is, its much easier to get out after the game. As far as the locker rooms, I wasnt aware of that new rule. I know they dont allow anyone on the field unless you are a part of the team and thats a great rule.
Sheldon Clark does appear to have a bright future. My question is who was that idiot coach up in the box that just yelled and bitched all night when he clearly did not know what he was yelling about...
#13
Wasn't talking about the fans, they wouldn't let the players out. I never said anything about your parking either, I was giving you a heads up that you might have to walk a long way to get to our field, because all of our parking is under construction, and it is pretty safe to say there will be no locker room available either.

Adam Griffith came out and played himself a helluva game! He had a receiving TD and I don't know how many tackles but I would guess somewhere around 15-20. Grant Anderson absolutely "trucked" a helpless SC defender on his way to a fantastic game! Mr. Consistency Bryson Williams had himself a quiet, but albeit great night receiving several passes from Jarrell. O'Conner and Lafferty ran great for SC, and I was very impressed with Workman early on in the game and his speed is unmatched! He will be a name to look out for in the coming years. Best of luck to both o the rest of the season!

Also your welcome for the football that you all stole after the last play.
#16
Just wondering how a ref can say there is a fumble and never throw his bean bag?
#17
he was in ,bad call by the refs, the cards won this game ,just didnt get the w ,blackcats steal another one, keep ur heads up cards,i would like to see this game at the rock.the refs can lick my crack
#18
This was a war sad that the ref had to take it away from the kids on that bad call at the end of the game. Good game tonight cards keep your heads up and get ready for next week.

I honestly thought he was in, but if he would've committed 100% to the run he woulda easily been in and we might've had OT!

Its all shoulda coulda woulda now its time to move on, Both teams have some very talented players on the team and should be good seasons for both squads.
#21
Pburg had the lead by 8.. So SC couldnt have won even with the TD. At the most with the 2 point conversion it would have been OT
#22
Sounds like Sheldon Clark is turning around from last season. Great guy guys.
#23
great game by both squads. Tyler Oconner with 5 TDs for the cards.
#24
Just curious... with a score this high on both sides, it sounds like pretty good offensive, but it doesn't sound like either side had much defense going on. What are your thoughts?
#25
P-Burg is doing what P-Burg does.... but this year, they are doing earlier than usual.
#26
0 defense by either team. It looked like Hal Mumme v.s. Mike Leach.
#27
Well I was right that Sheldon Clark is a very good team this year and they are back to the Sheldon Clark of old. Great game from my understanding. Although I was wrong on the outcome of the game I am very glad that both Prestonsburg and Sheldon Clark have their Football Programs back to the day's of old. Two great teams that will have a lot of success this season. Congrats to both teams.

Just what I thought, Blackcat Nation knows they stole one, so they are not on here crowing about their great win. NO CLASS

Prestonsburg played about as badly as they possibly could in the first half. Turned the ball over twice, had nearly a 100 yards in penalties and give SC a TD to end the half. Kudos to the Cards though, because they capitalized on Pburgs mistakes.

Second half was much like the second half of the Perry game. The SC defense was absolutely worn out mid way through the 3rd quarter and Pburg managed to out score SC, 35-14 in the second half. However though, Pburg couldn't stop #21 from SC. He was a man amongst boys out there.

As for the refs, its not that they made a bad call at the end of the game, because no one from the stands could really tell if he scored or not. Its just that it took the ref a good 8 secs to make the call.

Aside from that, it was a great ball game. Its obvious that both teams still have A LOT of work to do.

Congrats Blackcats.... good game SC.

If your team gives up 35 points in the 2nd Half you have absolutely no grounds to claim another team "STOLE ONE". I would be directing my frsutration at the fact it appears SC "GAVE ONE AWAY".

Just my humble opinion.
