Well I am no fan of Bell County for many reasons, for one it amazes me how kids from between Middlesboro and Pineville can be so much better than kids from Pineville and Middlesboro every season. Coaching...nah, feeder system...nah. Recruiting...well thats another topic. Hey whatever works. Im a realist and Middlesboro has no chance to win this game in any way shape or form. The Bell County allstar team would wax Pineville and Middlesboro combined.

Bell is too big and strong for any team in 3A. The Hudson kid coming to Bell was a wind fall. Watching them run the ball last night and listening to the Bryan Station fans talk about how no other team on their schedule runs that power offense really makes the point that if you have the size advantage you can be successful not having a real pass attack. Bell will continue to win as long as they have that advantage.

IMO no other team on the schedule will come within 28 pts of us but maybe Harlan Co.

I knew the "X" Middlesboro man couldn't wait to get this one started.

Recruiting, that is some funny stuff. See your cartoon character on your leg matches your intelligence!!!:lmao:
Bell has had 1 transfer in 4 years and that is this year. Heck M'boro has some of Bell's kids if you want to get technical. How many kids on M'boro's roster went to elementary school in the Bell Co. district? :please:

Not mistaken but last year 5 Middesboro starters came to Bell wanting to transfer and we told them no. Thought that was classy for us.

So your taking away how good Bell Co is? The first two games was loaded with freak athletes. We beat the #10 team in 6A on their field with a freshman QB.

Bryan Station played for a Regional Title last year in 6A and returned everyone this year from that same team.

I do not think recruiting is the right word. Some kids may come to a school because they want to play at a big time program or play with their friends. Kids want to win and sometimes they switch schools to do so, but I doubt you see actual recruiting taking place.

I'm amazed at how SOME of the Middlesboro fans.....NOT ALL.....get on here and come up with excuses as to why Bell is better than Middlesboro. Recruiting? Are you serious? Please give me a break. Please tell me what players were recruited by Bell from Middlesboro. I know of several kids that tried to come to Bell from Middlesboro and were not allowed. Please quit trying to say things like that because it makes you look like an a$$ and sore loser.

Im going to give one warning and one warning only on this.
We are not here to discuss kids personal lives. Do that garbage somewhere else.
Its fine to talk about anything else school and football related, but this isnt topix.
If you Mboro fans want to talk recruiting, cheating, or anything else, have at it, but if it goes overboard ill put a stop to it.
Now, continue on...

Listen, I've played for mboro, they have great athletes, an a great program, they have no excuse to be terrible, they jst play wth no heart, and they don't play as a team, bell plays together, and they work through things, il tell u the best team players today, and thts pineville, if mboro, wld play like these 2 teams, I kno pville ,ay not be great, but they have heart, and they play as a family, mboro would b a great football team, but until then, that's y bell beats the butt very year...

RECRUITING? you've gotta be kiddin' me. Yes, we recruit with our entire 30-40 man roster, 30-40 man roster of kids that has been together from grade school up. got ya. you hit the nail on the head. Coaching, yes! Dudley Hilton is and was one of the best coaches in the state of KY, he built these seniors you're seeing this year up. As he did every year, and Wayne Mills is a Hilton guy who went to an abysmal Knox Central team and turned them into a force in the mountains. Up until the past 3-4 years, Bell has NEVER had the athletes that Middlesboro had, we we're just coached up way better. Feeder System, yes! when a group of kids play in the same system with the same boys for years and have an understanding of their job on the field, and know the do's and dont's of the team, as the middle school team is ran nearly spot on with the high school bunch, they're bound to see some success. And even if a few kids in the Pineville/Middlesboro areas do switch to bell, can you blame them? winning more than 3 games a year has to be a plus when you work your hind end off for better results. :gtfo:

The history of these two programs is so rich. This will be a emotional game. I know most of you guys were not even born when the new Bell High opened in 1984, but before that even Pineville beat them. I'm not not sayiny that they recruit. But I guess it comes down to the old field of dreams theory, if you build it, they will come. I guess Bell High had better classes to offer being a bigger school. Back in the day Middlesboro and Pineville had better teams. But now Bell High is the powerhouse. Bell High can win by as many as they want.

I hope that Corey O is able to play sometime this year hate to see a Senior go down to a injury!
