Bingo!!

Louisville area fans are on KyPreps not Rivals. This may have alot to do with the lack of interest.

I certainly think Central has closed the gap, but until they beat St. X you can't put them there.

I know it's a new year, but in the past I thought Manual usually had a strong program? The problem I saw was they couldn't beat Trinity or St Xavier. Are they perceived as having the third or 4th strongest program behind the two mentioned above and Central or have they fallen on hard times?

I wouldnt say they have fallen on hard times, but both Manual and Male have been "down" for a few years now. They are still both very strong programs, but it seems that the athletes they were once getting are heading to other programs. Both, IMO, have been hurt by Central's success and Trinity's rise above the competition.

Central absolutely dominated Manual this year in what may very well signify the changing of the guard.

Swap Central and St X and it looks good to me. Central hasnt beat St X in a few years now even tho the scores have been close.

Last year St X 31 Central 30 in OT. How much closer do you need it ? To be considered close ?
#11
Ok that was last year. So what? Do the last 5 years then. An In those last 5 years Central has still not beaten them. Not knocking Central.

Fair

But I do see where your coming from putting them ahead of St X. Where theyve won the past 3 state titles or however many it is and them being the favorites this year to win it again. I can understand that.

Well the real central faithful actually do judge our success from our 6A victories, not trying to belittle 3A at all ,there are some good teams ,but overall it's too easy for Central , folk here in Louisville give little credit to anything but 6A & Highlands , the bluebirds have earned it. But we gave em all they wanted a couple times , including one year relinquishing a 21 point 4th quarter lead.

Central has had some tough teams. I'd like to see them renew the Highlands series too. Manual had the best stadium IMO.
#16
If Central beats Saint X this year then they are the better. Saint X hasnt been even close to winning anything since Trinity upset them in the state championship game 4 or 5 years ago. If you just take Trinity away from Louisville then Louisville becomes really an average football city.

Right now .probably so , but I'm not certain.
