Best Offense in the State
#1
In your opinion who has the best offense in the State , regardless of class and why?
#2
TRINITY by far along with FT Highlands. The schedule and teams they play and points they put up. Yeah we can say all other schools, but their strength of schedule is weak.
#3
Definitely Trinity. No one inside the state can touch them.
#4
Franklin County. They are averaging 64 points a game.
#5
If you take Trinity out of the picture, I would go with Franklin Co.

True, but what do they give up?

Again true, but what do they give up?

Williamsburg can score any time. They have too many weapons to not be the best offense in the state
#9
Trinity easily at the top. Highlands is on pace to break the state record for points and that is with subs playing most of the second half of games and with us kneeling the ball down in a sign of good sportsmanship when we could put up more points on teams.

the A team Wrote:Williamsburg can score any time. They have too many weapons to not be the best offense in the state

My 12 year old daughters softball team could score 30 on Pineville, Berea, Leslie Co., Jellico and Campbellsville. Confusednicker:

W'burg having a great year but they haven't played a team that plays D all year. Not saying they couldn't score on really good team, just that they haven't played one.
#11
Obviously not the Jumpers.
#12
Trinity, Highlands, Franklin County. Are all great offenses but not Somerset.
#13
Confusednicker:Confusednicker:Somerset only averages 20 points a game and 16 if you tak :biglmao:e away the Southwestern game.Confusednicker::biglmao::trolldad2:

But how many do they give up? All that matters is that you've got more on your side of the scoreboard at the end of the game. Somerset can win scoring 16 points a game... Especially when they give up less than 10. I don't recall any Somerset fans saying that the Jumpers had the best offense. Trust me that Jacket offense wants no part of the Jumpers defense.

Wow your really smart to figure that out :worthy:

No One said they were, did they?

Sorry if pointing out the obvious about Williamsburg whizzed in your Cheerios!

:what:Confusederved:JUMPER DAD :policeman:policeman:policeman give us a call here at williamsburg for next year 2013.let see just how good of a defense you have,an lets leave the girls softball team out of this:blondeche just maybe :Sad04: you dont have a offense an that want win a state title:flush::please:play us:ilikeit::partyhard

Funny so many people are talking about defense when it simply asked a bout offense.

If you remove Trinity, Highlands, and Bowling Green, i would go with Russell County. There very dynamic.

After Friday im wondering if Harlan County dont have the best Confusednicker:

Don't take cheap shot and pout like a girls softball team when you get called on it. How many times have you seen Williamsburg this year? You continue to belittle them and have never seen them. Say something positive about somebody other than your precious bunnies. You have made these comments this entire season but have yet to see Williamsburg. If you want to disparage other teams don't cry when someone points out the bunnies have NO O.
#19
Guys lets leave the other sports out of this. If you wanna talk softball then please take it to the softball forum.

No one said that Somerset had the best offense in the State, so why bring them in it?

As for who has the best offense in the state, Trinity, Highlands, Bowling Green, John Hardin
#20
I didn't realize that your team being weak in an area made you lose all credibility to discuss it.

With as much as Sur talks Williamsburg up, I hope they put together an offensive attack better than he puts together a sentence!

Didn't pout at all and don't see where I got called on anything, Jumpers O is so bad they couldn't score in a brothel...never said any different. You guys started bashing Somerset's O when no one said anything about them.

Someone stated that Williamsburg had one of the best offenses in the state and that is laughable...they are one of the best in 1A, but not the state as a whole.

The statement I made about Williamsburg is 100% correct on the following points...They have played a weak schedule (not their fault they are playing who's on the schedule). I also said that they may be able to score on a really good D just that hadn't played one yet.

I am not disparaging Girls Softball, these girls are HARD, nothing but respect for how hard they work and play.

Good Luck Williamsburg, hope for the best for you.

Jumper Dad you were taking a cheap shot when you said your 12 year old softball team could score 30 against Williamsburg's schedule. Don't be a Eddie Haskell and say who me now. You have taken these shots all year. The all mighty Bunnies dodged being in Corbin's district by opting up a class when they were 2A. I didn't see them opt up when Bell County was added to that district.

hey:igiveup:dumpster diving you can follow us to bowling green.if you dont have a teamConfusederved::policeman:lmao:

That was said tongue in cheek, I guess maybe you didn't get that. I predicted elsewhere that they would go undefeated, how is that a shot? The softball remark was a shot at the teams on your schedule not your precious Williamsburg...whatever they are.

Who were dodging when we went into the same class as Central and Belfry? Corbin...haha

Last 4 games between the two...
2003 63-6 Somerset
2004 14-42 Williamsburg
2005 56-13 Somerset
2006 66-39 Somerset
Total Somerset 199 Williamsburg 100

We don't need Corbin or Bell to fight our battles...

I won't post another word about Williamsburg, unless prodded to do so...have a nice life down in the 'Burg
#25
Stay on topic! Offense! Trinity! Period!
#26
Trinity is head and shoulder above everyone else, based on production and quality of opponents. Bowling Green and Highlands have been very impressive. Many teams are having great years respective to the class they play in. PRP, Franklin Co, Scott Co, Fairview, Mayfield and Russell County come to mind first as they have been blowing people up, but they are not in the class of the others.

FBfan4life Wrote:True, but what do they give up?

The question was about the OFFENSE it had nothing to do with what they give up.

The thread asked for best offense regardless of class. Sure, if Williamsburg's offense played against Trinity's D, the Jackets wouldn't score their average of 48 points. The question was best offense, period.

Also, your assertion that Williamsburg hasn't played against a good defense is just plain WRONG! The teams you mentioned are definitely NOT defensive powerhouses, but you obviously don't follow Tennessee football at all.

Williamsburg went TO Oneida and scored 20 points on an EXCELLENT team that went to the state quarterfinals last year. Plus, the Indians returned 16 seniors and 16 starters to this year's team. Oneida gives up only 11 points per game. The only team to score more points on Oneida was Greenback which is #3 in Tennessee. They hung 26 points on the Indians and have averaged 41 points per game since. Oneida is a GREAT defensive team.

True, the Jackets have been running amok against weak defenses, but their performance against Oneida is PROOF POSITIVE that they have been tested and made good account of themselves.

BTW, Williamsburg's 301 point differential between points scored/allowed is third in the state. Only Bourbon County (318) and Highlands (302) rank higher.

You got to go with Trinity for the best O or D because they are hands down the Best team in this state and one of the best in this country.

yeah the little bunnies have ran from Corbin for years choosing to play a higher class to keep away from the hounds. Hounds move up and they ran back to 2a not wanting no part of Corbin or Bell either. Hey bunnies get us on your schedule next year everyone knows we are down,so here is your chance. The last 2 games you played against a team from this county you are 0-2. I beat the bunnies don't schedule Breathitt or Whitley next year.:CE_DP_Ste
