I am so proud of these kids and what they have accomplished. I dont look at this as much as dethroning Bell County...rather now instead of one powerhouse we have 3. You better strap it up if you play on 25E or 119...

I think its funny how KC thinks they are king of the mountains because someone knocks off Bell since they couldnt do it.Sure you are having a great year but are you forgetting how HC beat you last year? Are u forgetting about some of the other football traditions in the mountains like Belfry, and Breathitt? HC is peaking at the right time. They seem to get better everyweek. Theyll be something to deal with over the next few weeks.

Congrats to HC and our boys need to keep their heads up down 20 with little over 5 minutes to go and not giving up and putting theirselves in a position for at least a chance to win with that onside kick way to go guys and good luck to both teams in the playoffs!!! The Black Bears came and played their game in an awesome stadium. Hats off to Bell for never giving up. The Bears handed the ball to them late instead of pounding and finishing the game with a 20 point lead. I also want to mention that the Black Bears gave Bell all they could handle last year and also put a stomp on Knox last year as well. Bell cant say NO ONE IN THE MOUNTAINS CAN BEAT US any more. Bell will continue to be a powerhouse team. Fact is Harlan County is too and tonight the Bears dominated!!!!GREAT JOB BLACK BEARS!!!!NOW LETS GET READY FOR THE PLAYOFFS!!!

That was actually in response to someone posting that Belfry will roll in and get a W over HC. I really don't care about Belfry. I think both of the teams on the field tonight in Harlan is better than Belfry if you wan't the truth. Taste of defeat doesn't bother me, I know how to take a loss and how to say someone was better on that night.

Congrats HC Black Bears!!! Oh what a night! It was just about all too much for this gal to handle. So, so, soooooooooo proud of our boys....they all did an awesome job. Congrats to all the coaches, players and fans! What a way to open the new stadium. That place is just amazing. Sitting in the stands, being nestled in between those beautiful mountains, looking around at all those people....I just couldn't believe we finally had it and was actually there. It just doesn't seem real.

Hats off to Bell too. I know it's been said already in this thread, but there was no quit in those boys and they played tough. Good luck in the rest of the playoffs Bobcats!

One of the reason coach Mills left Knox Central was to get away from Highlands. Would you rather play Louisville Central or Highlands I believe 99% of the time you would want to play Central.

Central is just as dominate in 3A as Highlands is in 4A. Now I agree Highlands would beat Central ten out of ten games. It just stinks Bell has to play them early in the playoffs. Bell probably has zero chance of beating them and I hate that. I would of loved to see Belfry beat them last year in the State Championship. They come so close.

1st the stadium is unreal and it isn't even finished yet. Can't believe we get to call that place home. Great game by 2 great teams. Good job coaches, players and fans. Administration did good with such short notice. Secondly, after reading Bell's posts they are a class act. Even though they don't have many losses they do it with class. Good luck to Bell and hope we both have a loooonnnggg playoff run.
