It depends on which Morgan County teams shows up friday night. Morgan is very beat up and they have been playing with out six or seven starters since the Breathitt game. If Morgan gets healthy I believe Morgan wins this game but if not they will lose once again in the first round of the playoffs. With this game being at home I will predict the Cougars winning by a score 27-21.

What starters do they have out, and what happened? Just common injuries or what?

If Morgan is not healthy then Lawrence wins.
Lawrence County would have easily defeated both Magoffin and East Carter.. but at the same time it is definitely worth noting that a healthy Morgan County would be a favorite in this one for sure.

I got a question. If Morgan County played Lawrence County's schedule what would their record be right now? Just for fun what do you think? Could Morgan beat Ashland, Prestonsburg, Perry Central, Pike Central, Sheldon Clark, Raceland, and so forth?

Why was Morgan without so many starters?

4 starters have been out the majority of the season with season-ending knee injuries. The others have missed with regular football injuries (sprained ankle, pulled muscles, etc.)

Injuries, one after another for Morgan this season. BUT the guys that are playing are going to have to step up this week. STEP UP or GO HOME, that's the options.

I like LC in this one.

You can't help but look at both teams schedules and say that the schedule that LC played should have them prepared as well as being off two weeks. Morgan County played a much weaker schedule with their opponents records combined of ( 30-69), LC's opponents are (46-45). Also, you will see strengths vs strengths with Bulldogs rushing attack against Morgan County's run defense. Who wins the battle up front will determine the winner.

LC takes this one

I would love it if this game is in the snow.

????? Why? It will probably be played in the mud.. not snow..... if Morgan can get their injured players healthy, everyone will see a different team.

Snow is awesome to play in. I'm sure they would be, any team would be. Lawrence is without some of their key starters as well.

Who is Lawrence without? Why? Injuries??
10-31-2012, 12:07 PM
Starting tailback Morgan O Brian- leg injury, senior linebacker Blake Watson-leg injury, cornerback Brad Lycan- leg injury. They have been out most of the year with the exception of Lycan just the past few weeks

I wouldn't say easily defeated Magoffin, they've been over-looked for the most part this season but have also had their fair share of bad performances which comes with being a young team. Nonetheless, I think Lawrence will come out with this win. Lawrence has had a hard schedule this year compared to Morgan's. Lawrence rolls 34-14.

Morgan has not been healthy for most of the season, but we really don't complain or atleast try not to, but it seems that both our teams has been plagued, with leg injuries this year, but good luck to MC and LC tonight.
