The Black Bears are playing really strong!! Coach has them peaking at just the right time, so I'll go with HC Bears with the win.

In all seriousness, for some reason, all year, ive thought about this matchup. I havent seen MS play in person, but ive got the feeling they will hang around. Dont ask me why, just a feeling.
In the end though, HC pulls away.

HC was playing without their best all around player last night (Carson Whitehead - LB/FB) who I believe they sat out due to a mild concussion. J.W. Cooper, a starting offensive lineman was out also and another O-lineman (#76 Hensley) played very little. All 3 players I believe should be back in the lineup next week and ready to go! It sounds like MS has a really good rb and have put together a pretty good season, but the trip to Harlan and an HC team closer to being totally healthy will be a little too large a task for the boys from Madison county to overcome! If MS gives up 36 to PC even though Perry does has some very nice offensive weapons I would expect HC to score a lot of points. HC's defense does seem to go to sleep at least 3 or 4 times every game for some reason so I would have to believe MS will probably score 2 or 3 td's, but it wont be near enough IMO.
HC - 48 MS = 20
HC - 48 MS = 20

Hang around?? Hang around my butt, Gut; you just don't want to play us again!!!!

All i say is if Perry had kick their field goals in the second half instead of going for two point conversions Perry would have won. Harlan 49 Madison Southern 14.

Got to go with Da Bears! Why wouldn't their star tail back play in the biggest game of the year? Is he injured?

I know Southern has a good running back, but i'm not sure their O-line can take Harlan's D-line. Harlan has a way of shutting the run down and forcing you to do things you normally wouldnt do. On the other side, i'm not sure southern can stop Harlan's offense either, just too many weapons all around. harlan wins big.

Any chance Harris plays this week?
11-03-2012, 09:35 PM
If Harris plays, Madison Southern could put some points on the board with his speed. He is the type of player if he gets past the line it is 6. If he does not play, Harlan Co. will hold them to under 10. I believe the Harris kid is that good. \

100% chance that he will play. Watch out for Damien he is definately a game changer. If their is a kid that can bridge the talent gap between these two teams it's #34 for southern.

I am glad he is playing...I don't want any player to have to set out of a big playoff game due to an injury.
