This race should not be close when you look at the job numbers, attempt of shutting down our God-given energy sources, the continued lying about Benghazi, etc.
Why is this race so close? I'll tell you why.
The media has become so liberally corrupt that Obama can do no wrong. It is flat out pathetic and so sickening that I stay nauseous.

It's sickening to see. I wonder if, let's say Obama does get re-elected, they will continue to support him when all the facts about Libya come out. The media had given up big time on Jimmy Carter by this point. You know the media is running out of ideas when multiple articles are posted in the same week about how people from the European and Asian countries are wanting Obama to win.

I don't think that the race is as close as the media wants everybody to believe. Most of the media pollsters have been assuming that Democratic turnout is not going to be much different than it was in 2008, but Gallup's polls of people who have voted early show that to be very unlikely.
Romney and Ryan are beginning to run TV ads in Minnesota and Pennsylvania and that is forcing Obama to spend money there as well. Obama is campaigning like a challenger and Romney is campaigning like the president, which tells me that Obama believes that he is behind. Benghazi may be Romney's trump card but he does not seem to want to play it.

I'll remember it the next time I see all the pill-heads at Wal-Mart on the first of the month buying their Mountain Dew, Little Debbie snacks, and Monster Energy drinks.
Now calm down before you jump my ass about that comment, but if you think there's not a large portion of people on government assistance who aren't abusing the system, you're living under a rock.

i have values..and one of the,m includes helping people that need it..how come when the poor take advantage of government programs its terrible, but when fortune 500 companies are ripping thier workers a new one and taking advantage of the government WAY worse then anyone who draws a couple hundred in food stamps not much gets said?

I don't recall anyone saying that a poor person (who actually needs help) who is on gov't assistance was terrible. It's those that CAN work and just don't WANT to work that is a shame. There are some people raised all their lives to believe that their whole purpose in life is to drift along and rely on the government. I went to high school with kids who told me their plans after graduating were to "draw a check."
I also know of people who got pregnant and then intentionally did not get married just so the mother could draw a check. The mothers and fathers lived together, the fathers brought in a check to the household just like anyone else, but since they were not married the mothers could get gov't assistance that any married, working couple could not.
And a key difference between someone drawing a check and the CEO of your aforementioned Fortune 500 company...the CEO actually goes to work and employs countless numbers of people who want to work and not sit on their butts all day smoking cigs and watching Maury.

Anybody that thinks republicans, conservatives, Romney, or anybody on this forum doesn't want to "help the people that need it" simply is not listening to a word being said. It gets tiring listening to you guys spew the "let poor people starve" propaganda.
ANY sensible human would expect able bodied fellow citizens to be more self sufficient, wouldn't they? It's the waste, fraud and abuse we want fixed. And there are billions of dollars involved. Please stop with the silly accusations, it weakens your stance IMO.

You are so far out of reality, only Romney can save you

It's not the media guys...everyone wants to yell media without giving an argument for it. Believe it or not, people don't believe everything they see on TV.
I think it's close because there's just alot of idiots out there that don't have a clue about politics, or vote straight Democrat no matter who's running. That's why I think it's close.

I gotta disagree a bit Vund. No, the media isn't the whole problem, but I do believe there are many people that sit down at night and watch their network news and believe every single word spoken. They fall for the subtle nudges and lean in the direction of their trusty anchorman/woman.
I have actually heard people say "Why don't Dan Rather run for president, he is so smart???". WOW!

Absolutely, I actually think that those you mention that believe every word, do so because they are so naive. To them the concept of a libeal media, manipulating the news to make dems look good and republicans to look bad, is absurd. They are like the majority of folks were 20 years ago. Back then the notion folks could be purposefully misled wouldn't have occurred to them, things like that aren't supposed to happen here. The unfortunate truth is that they do happen here and the awakening to that fact has been painfully slow. Dan Rather so smart? This alone gives one a pretty good idea how much sway these news actors/anchors hold, over the persuasions of the masses.

I think this guy has it nailed. Landslide, I don't know about, but I think Romney will win. This is from a few months back, and Obama's image has only gone down since then.

He is a pretty smart guy.

But it doesn't help anything when you have Chris Christie talking like a love sick teenager when Obama sucked up to him in what amounted to nothing more than just a political photo op. Christie just hasn't figured out that not only is Obama taking him for a fool, but he made himself look like that very thing.

I think the guy on CNN made a valid and true point this morning. He said in elections that are this close, all it shows is that America doesn't want either candidate.

It's called giving praise where praise is due. Not all conservatives HAVE to be brainwashed nuts. Its still possible to think for yourself instead of letting Rush Limbaugh think for you.

It is possible that not everyone on this who disagrees with you is on one account. Just sayin.

Anyone who believes what they see on TV without any doubt, especially on a news network, is just stupid, lol.

Just because he is a nut, does not necessarily mean he has more than one account. A moron can be a moron with just one account. If he does only have one, in this case, it provides a perfect example.
