I agree with that 100%.
Whitley will have another night where they run for 400+ yards, but it wont be a complete blowout.

Then explain Norm how Goins has rushed for 1100 yds and a freshman quarterback set a school record for completions in a season. Seniors Gross and Jasper are as good as there is in the district and Tilley, Merrick and Varney have been getting the job done all year. So that Norm is simply an inaccurate statement.

I am glad that everyone is picking Whitley! Just gives the Maroons more motivation! Pulaski Co has vastly improved from the beginning of the season and all of the freshman and sophmore have improved much quicker than expected. I think this will be a extremely good game but, I think the Maroons underrated defense comes through and allows Riley Hall and the offense to pull out the win!
Pulaski Co. - 28
Whitley Co. - 21

I think this is a going to a great game. Two contrasting styles, but both have young kids who contribute and some older kids who provide leadership. I think Whitley can control the game if they can rush the football like they have two of the last three games. I do think they will have to throw the ball at some point. Pulaski's spread could cause some problems for the Whitley defense and they have some speed. I think it will be a great game.
I will say this....if Pulaski needs to read this board for motivation they could be in trouble.
This is a game if you are not excited about playing and focused to a laser beam on game night, well you just don't have a heartbeat.

I'm going to go with the Maroons at home.

If our Dline gets pressure on the young PC QB it could be a long night for them.
They'll get some passing yards, but from all im hearing, Ysidro is a definite ready to go on both sides of the ball, and we will need him in that defensive secondary.
It might take until halftime, but Whitley will pull away in this one.

This game is not in the bag for either team. I think it will be very close in the first half....
If Pulaski can "hang around" the second half then who knows? It could be a race for the finish for either team.
I really think that down the stretch Whitley will pull it out; but if Pulaski wins it wouldn't be a surprise.
Good luck to both teams; I hope you guys play an injury free game!!

This should be a good one. I think Pulaski can move the ball through the Air. I think Whitley will run all over Pulaski. Should be a high scoring game. I'll go Whitley in a close game.

Not really sure how it would be considered an upset if the higher seeded Pulaski Co team playing at home wins. I think it a fairly even matchup so no matter who wins, it will not be an upset either way.

Even though PC is a higher seed and is playing at home, I feel like they are the underdogs, which is exactly what Coach Hines wants.

Yeah, I am sure he is eating that up! I just said that because I would not feel as though it was an upset if Pulaski wins but, by all means if the players can use that as more motivation more power to them.

It will happen this year.
Whitley should have beat them in 09 at Pulaski.
You know what happened in that game....
With just a couple of minutes left, ran the ball all the way down to the ten with just a few seconds remaining, had run it down there throat all night, needed a score to seal the deal, and we call a PASS play? WTF? That horrible play call ended in an interception and sealed the game for Pulaski.
Not to mention team problems that night that i refuse to discuss on here.
Im saying it happens this time.
May not be a big Whitley win, but i still believe they pull away in the second half.

Whitley has alot of injuries right now, but with Bryant, Ysidro, and Mills I don't see them having any problems winning this one

Whitley will score but so will Pulaski.
I will be sitting by pressbox on last row in the middle if anyone stops by.

You mean the team problems where the coaching staff, that is still there, allowed their team to do thousands of dollars of damage to the visitors locker room? I remember that..
