There's a reason why deer gun season opens tomorrow. And a lot of you will be logging some miles today and the football Fridays ahead.
Bucks have been chasing does for the last week. I drove the AA highway yesterday from NKY to Maysville and the carnage is on the high end. This will continue for the next two weeks!
So be aware and have a great weekend bgr nation.
This bgr service announcement brought to you by venison...literally!

This is especially true for Ashland fans traveling to Ft. Thomas.
If I was a betting man I'd say there are more deer hit per square mile there more than any where else in the country.

Nothing worse than seeing a 10 point laying on the side of the road, hit by a car.

Yeah.... No kidding.
But when deer travel more than usual, and people aren't used to seeing deer on the roadways... It can be a little tricky.

Yeah, I saw an accident the other day where a lady hit one in her little car. Apparently the deer must have been jumping to avoid the vehicle. It hit right on the windshield and completely took out the windshield. If it had impacted just about 1 foot to the left, she no doubt would have been critically injured. Good call, I know we are thinking about football, but everyone please be safe out there, even 64 (ha).
