That's often the case in high school (and youth) sports. The kids seem to truly enjoy the game and keep it in perspective, for the most part.
It's the "adults" who manufacture all the drama.

In other words, are the Danville fans waiting for "their own" and it just so happens they have to wait beside P'burg fans and locker room?
The answer to your question is NO. Danville's locker room would have been inside the gymnasium building 50yds away. Prestonsburg's locker room is in an entirely separate building.
But let's not pursue talk about that kind of thing any more...it's more fun talking about the game.

Can't believe people are complaining about Danville fans being happy for their team. They weren't intentionally trying to rub anything into or players faces. I've seen Prestonsburg parents/students do much worse.
As for the game, Prestonsburg played really well and I thought they could win this one, because Danville didn't impress me at all. They have a good team, but Pburg outplayed them for the most part and probably should've won. But Danville made the big plays in the 2nd half and rightfully won the game.
Prestonsburg players have nothing to hang their heads about. The seniors had their ups and downs during their career, but it was mostly good add they won a lot of games. Future is certainly bright, with a lot if freshman & sophomores on the roster they had to step in and play the likes of Belfry, Hazard, and Danville. Never an easy task and eventually it will pay off.
Congrats Danville.... Best of luck against Somerset!

After the game, the players for Dville were classy in shacking hands with the heartbroken P-burg seniors, but the fans that hung around the lockeroom were classless. All in all great game to watch, very proud of the young blackcats!
Who was #8 ? Grant Anderson?

#8 is Bryson Williams.
Grant is #11.
Both are very fast.

Congrats to Danville on the win. Good luck to you in your playoff run.
I'm so proud of this Blackcat team. You guys played your hearts out. From game one to game 12 it looked like a totally different defense on that field. That is proof of hard work and dedication by the players and coaching staff.
Seniors, thanks for the memories and the great moments you supplied over the years. You will be missed. Good luck in the future in what ever you decide to do. Put forth the same hard work and dedication in life and you will succeed.
Young guys, time to hit the weights. The work you put in the off season will pay dividends during the season. I will see you guys next year loud & proud.
Walk proud Blackcats. You played your hearts out.

Great game, congrats to Danville.
I agree with Blackcat Fan. This team has so much heart. They would be down by two touchdowns and everyone would think, how are they going to come back in this one? But they would go to work out there, I can honestly say I never saw any quit in them throughout the entire season. The defense kept working hard and showed everyone you could do it! Proud of you boys!
Seniors, you will never know how much you impact these younger players. Encouraging them, giving them a push when they needed it, leading by example, working hard, and being their friend... They will never forget that. Good luck in whatever you choose to do. I wish you nothing but the best.. It's been a pleasure watching you play.
To next years blackcats.. Don't lose the heart you played with this year. You see what hard work can achieve. Work hard in the off season. It will pay off..You've got a bright future, you just can't let up.
Congrats Blackcats on a great season!
