depends on what they're being consistent in. in general, i think consistency is important in the beginning of the season while teams are setting up their offensive and defensive packages

I think consistency is one of the keys to building a championship ball club, consistency is always better than complacency....

It just seems that some of the more successful programs in my area (EKY) have a well established program from youth football to high school. Most programs like Belfry, Johnson Central, Bell County seem to have consistency from their head coaches down to their youth players running the same plays as the high school. Just another example look at Ironton, OH and Fort Thomas.

Look at Paducah Tilghman this year and you will see exactly how important it is. They have a wealth of talent and couldn't even make it past the second round, because they fumbled a ball (which was par for the course) and self destructed.

Rockcastle County had consistency for 20+ years, now it does not. Look what it does.
However, one of the most important consisentcies is consistency in the style of player and style of coach. If you have a ground-n-pound coach with players taught and grown to do that style, all is well. If you like to run-n-gun and do not have the players, you are gonna be hurting.
If Scott Parkey remains head coach, then I hope everyone from the boosters to the little league coaches help him get the teaching, players are support he needs.
