FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (WKYT/AP) - Crews searching for a missing teenager in northeastern Kentucky tell WKYT's Sean Moody they have found his body in a quarry.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Endre Samu says a unit searching by aircraft spotted the body around 1 p.m. Tuesday a couple miles south of Flemingsburg.
Crews have been searching for 15-year-old Ricky Dean Hamilton Jr. since Saturday.
Officials said earlier that Hamilton was hunting deer with his father Saturday. The two split up and were to meet later at a specific area, but the teenager never arrived.

A vigil will be held for Hamilton Tuesday night at Fleming County High School's football field beginning at 7 p.m.

I know we get on here and sometimes mouths run, this one is tuffer than the other. But I can say this I would never say anything that I thought would bring mental or bodly harm to anyone or anyones child. God be with them.

I too am a father of an avid deer hunter. This hits home real hard as my son is off on a camping and hunting trip tonight. I pray for his safe return.

I also pray for the family and friends of this young man, for God to get them through this VERY tough time. May God be with each and every one of you.

Oh My, this is devastating, and as a parent its the worst nightmare that can be imagined. I, like many who have posted, have two children of my own and every late night ring of the phone sends illness to our stomachs each and every time.

Here on Thanksgiving where we are all to celebrate with Turkey, Football and then gorge with deserts, let us ALL not forget what we are most thankful for in life, and that is our family and friends. Life is so precious, but there is no life that is more precious to a parent than that of their child!

God bless this family who will forever need our prayers, not just this day. May they somehow find peace and guidance today, tomorrow, and the rest of their lives - Amen
