No doubt that is a great achievement for those boys and the boys in the past that got Central where they are at today. Congratulations are in order. Not to change the subject but the last few years have dominated by Central and by Belfry. Hope to see you all there once again and hopefully another great state championship game. Once again congrats.

Congrats to the Jackets, they deserve it no doubt. Congrats to the Pirates on 9 out of 10 semis.

That's outstanding.

I could be wrong coachdad but I think I might have been in 2008 or 2009. My memory isn't to good. I think we got beat by Breathitt in the regional championship game when Channing Fugate was a senior for Breathitt.

2009 in the second round against Sheldon Clark is the only year in the last 10 that Belfry hasn't been in the final four. 2008 was in the semis at Belfry against Breathitt.

Yep your right bucslover. I thought about it after I posted that and remembered Breathitt making to state after they beat us. Central and belfry have definitely been the two teams that other teams have to go through the last decade just to make it to the big dance.

Central has been loaded with athletes for the last decade. But the coach has done a great job. They are very fundamentally sound, play great defense and limit their mistakes. They have played well against the big boys in Jefferson county and have dominated 3A. This is probably the most under rated coaching job in Kentucky.
