Final score is a bit misleading in one way as Fairview had quite a bit of offensive success, but Mayfield is was not going to be stopped on offense and made veteran plays to force fumbles.

Despite the score this game was a roller coaster ride for me. I did a lot of cheering happy for my Cardinals. I was also filled with regret because I am really gonna miss watching Jonathan Jackson play wearing the Mayfield red & black. He has started and played in 60, let me repeat that, 60 high school games! A player of his caliber can spoil the average fan, let alone a diehard fan like myself. The good news is, he has been leading by example for our underclassmen and we will be ready for another run at the title next year.

Not only that Smashmouth, next year we are gonna miss our game film every week. Not only has JJ spoiled us but his dad has as well.

Yep, gonna miss that too. I was happy to help him out with the video compression thing so he could put 3 games on one disc so he could send them to family that lives far away and couldn't have the opportunity to watch the games live.
