Since Brad Lowe got hurt against P-Burg what are all of you thoughts on how this will change Pike Central???
IMO i think it will make them a stronger ball club...He will be back soon but i think that he finaly got to see as did Coach Rowe that this team doesn't need to focus completly around him...They have nearly 3 players besided him that can put up double digit points...They need to IMO put the ball in the hands of Ratliff, Hamilton and Hess more to take a teams defence away from just Lowe which then opens Lowe up on the perimiter and will open the lane for Ratliff to drive so he can shot a 8 foot jump shot or for him to dump the ball off to the open man who should be fading to the corners and dropping to the base line...

It will be tough for them............

I think it can only help them! It will give other players some confidence! Which will help them come tournament time!

How long is he out. He is a ballplayer!

It will hurt them, he is the heart and soul of there team. If they can battle through this while he is hurt and find a way to win it will only get better for them.

from what i hear it is a high ankle sprain so id say no practice this week and no game...Probley will come back on the 7th to play Belfry i would say he will get limited playing time...Just hope it doesnt get any worse i know he did not go to the hospital for X-rays and he was walking on it...I would say come tourny time he will be about 80-85% healthy does that sound about right...

Brad Lowe is the heart and soul of this pike central team..yes i did say team...it is always a team effort...they will b stronger and will have to have other players step up...more points will come from other players....which mite let some weight come off of brad's shoulders..

They should do okay without him.. the rest of the team picked it up a lot in the Prestonsburg game after his injury

Tyler Hamilton is tough, and with Lowe out it will give him a chance to score more and give him more cofidence offensively, and when Lowe come back it will give them two offensive weapons, if he develops the confidence to score more...IMO.

It will hurt them the 1st couple of games but then they will start doin alright then when he comes back they will be a lot better.

It will hurt them for a while but the ball club is solid and they have more go to guys than Lowe. The team will become stronger because more people will get playing time and proof that there is more talent out there. Hess, Ratliff, Hamilton, AND Slone all are good ball handlers and can shoot the lights out of it given the chance. Lowe won't be out very long but it may even be a wake up call for him and make him step back and say "Hmmm..some of my teammates can shoot too, maybe I should pass some and let them shoot too.." It will definetly open up some eyes if nothing else.

Sorry to hear about this, I hope he makes a quick recovery. It may take a couple of games for the team to adjust without him, but when he does come back they should have a better team after the other kids see that they have to step it up.

I think it will hurt big time for the hawks but it will make them better in the long run for when he comes back

Lowe is a very good player and will greatly be missed.
