Somerset was telling everyone that this was a state championship year. They over estimated the talent on this team. The QB and Lange is really the only true weapons the team has. When PC thumped Somerset it burst that bubble. Somerset has had some really great teams over the past years but is sinking now and sunk after this year. They JV team may be the worst in the state.

Their JV team would be ok if the best two players weren't starting varsity (freshman Doan and sophomore Hatcher)

Win, Draw or lose. This Somerset Team still has the weapons to be very good when they get healed, if they get healed. I think at the very best this team would be 2-1 prob the same record the have 1-2. If healthy they would run the table and make a deep run in the play-offs. Good Luck at Hazard, it will be tough with 3 running backs beat up and prob set out this game. Go Jumpers!!!

Ok, lets be honest, dragging JV into this statement was ignorant. In my four years of high school football i can probably tell you how many games Somerset JV won on both hands. Its kind of a weird thing but our JV teams have never been studly but when we get to varsity it is a different animal. For you to say that Hatcher and Lange are the best two offensive weapons is also an ignorant statement. Cheuvront is with out a doubt top 5 fastest kids in the state. (1a state champ in the 100m). If he was 6 inches taller he would be top 20 wide receivers in the country IMO and i dont think that is an outrageous statement at all.

Yea 55 you are a Genius. Somerset plays with a 3rd string tailback and has a 40 yd td called back in 4th Qt. still has a chance to win at end. This bunch will be ok when the get healthy. So just keep picking against them.

No you said that we were saying we would win state this year and that we were better than Caldwell. I told you to find me the posts backing this up. Why don't you be a man and just admit you were wrong? My sig will stay the same until you find me an actual post that you don't edit yourself of a Somerset fan saying we would win state and be better than Caldwell. I do not know who all is from Somerset on here, so how in the world was I supposed to know if the ones that said that were Somerset fans or just wanna bees. I showed you quotes that were in your threads that indicated such. You tell me they are not from Somerset. I don't know, maybe they are not. The proof is in the pudding, you made statements you couldn't back up, threw some BS posts in to try to back it up, and got caught. You're better off to just let it die at this point because anyone who can read knows you are wrong.

Your dislike of Somerset is driven by a few quotes made in the off season. Our coaching staff willl tell you we have problems to fix and we are not any where close to being a contender right now. But, that doesn't mean we are going to give up because we believe the talent is there. Is this rant worth beating down the confidence of those young men who get on here and read these threads. You're absolutely right that we have not lived up to the hype. The only thing to do is continue to get better each day. Trust me when I say that we are criticized by our own fans/parents enough.

Well first off Roshambo, thanks for the compliment. That is the first time in a long time that anyone had pointed out that I weigh less than them. Secondly, I think your reading comprehension needs to be checked. I just said prior to your statement that I found posts in yalls threads that were along the lines of how Caldwell wasn't ready for yall. I stand corrected because you said guys pointed out that they are not Somerset fans. I cannot tell that unless, of course I lived there. That corrects that point. Lastly, thank your Jumper. That is the first time that someone has admitted that yall were not living up yet. That is how all of this got started. I made a simple statement on a thread asking what everyone thought about Somerset @ Hazard. I said I would take Hazard because Somerset is not living up to the billing. That was just my opinion, based upon the facts though. Then a bunch of Somerset fans took offense to that and jumped all over me. I of course when backed into a corner will fight to the bitter end. That is when someone said to show us proof that we said something along the lines of Caldwell not wanting any. I then pulled up a bunch of posts and then everyone started saying they were not Somerset fans and wanted more. I found more and again this continued in a vicious cycle. The bottom line is, I have no hatred against the bunnies. I even pointed out just a few posts earlier that they have had some great teams and we have even met some of them on the carpet. I do however, like Hazard, unless they are playing us of course. They have been a pretty respectable program and we respect that. I wish you all the best of luck, but geez learn how to take criticism.
