I really don't understand something cell king. Please don't get me wrong, I know you guys have had really good teams in the past, we met some. What I don't get is this. I simply made a couple of statements that y'all are not living up to the billing. It then gets turned into me eventually being a scum bag. To make a long story short, y'all made statements all summer long about this team and I was expecting you guys to light up the boards there in the east. It hasn't happened and they even loose to one of our 1a teams. I would say that therefore is not living up to the billing. That is not disrespectful. That is just an opinion based upon some facts. Why don't y'all just focus your abilities on rebutting the opinion or admitting it. I just don't think it should come down to people talking about my dog, my wife, my kid or calling me a scum bag. I have not resorted to calling anyone names unless of course your name is e and you did it first.

Hey, my son is in his second year of college ball. I've seen one Somerset game this year. I'll always root for Somerset because I played there too but whether they live up to their billing or not seems to mean much more to you then it does me. It's kind of sad. You've got a great team to root for but it seems like you'd rather spend your time trolling Somerset and Williamsburg or tooting Caldwell County's horn than talking about Mayfield. I'm guessing so it won't look so bad when the Tigers smack the Cardinals later in the season. You can't get on here and continually insult a couple of fan bases and then cry like you've been wronged when you get insulted. When you need that crying towel let me know where to deliver it. I'll be happy to bring it by in person.

damn, I have miss a lot this weekend. mysonis55, how does the teams out west look. is it a two horse race again. Mayfield and Beechwood. is there a sleeper or two.

cj, It looks like there is a lot more parity this year. The top 2 in the state are in 1a are in the same district. That would be Mayfield and Russellville. They have played 1 common opp this year and mhs won that game by only 9 more points than did Russellville. Then the other half looks like a battle between Frankfort and Beechwood. I know it may sound odd but right now I would give the edge to Frankfort. This week wiil give us a more clear picture of that one though.

I would love for you to deliver that there Walt. Any time old buddy old pal. I might need it this weekend as we have a good game up coming once again. I'm not sure about CC beating us this year though. That certainly should be the case next year though as we will be very young.

I agree with everything you have said mysonis55, the Somerset group is full of themselves, and they know who they are! They have won, done, nothing yet they talk like they are world beaters. Guess what? Move on you bunch of losers and wish for everything because you're not going to see the state finals. Again, all you bunnies talk about in preseason is "we got this and we got that". The only thing you got is a bunch of losses against teams who will never get out of their conferences. I've laid back waiting for your non-sense, so a little advice. Talk the talk when you can, otherwise, shut up!

You must not know much about football. The losses came against a good Hazard team on the road, Belfry who is a favorite to return to Bowling Green in 3A on the road, and Pulaski County who is one of the top teams in 5A this year. Not to mention Somerset has not been healthy all year. When you are missing 3-5 key players a game it will make a difference in the win loss column.

IMO, a 100% healthy Somerset team would be 3-1 at this point with the only loss being against Belfry.

You obviously were not at the Correll Bowl week 0. A 100% healthy Somerset team still gets destroyed by Pulaski. The Maroons dominated that game from kickoff to final whistle. At no time did SHS even look remotely close to the team Pulaski had on the field.

^Sadly I agree. Pulaski is the best team we've played this year. They dominated us wire to wire. We actually outplayed Belfry for most of the first half then the wheels fell off after the deep punt by Belfry in the 3rd.
