much better drive to Danville/Somerset , going to Pikeville is like going out in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of toothless rednecks , not something I enjoy doing.

As far as the game if Middlesboro can limit the number of turnovers I like Em by 12 , if they have a lot of turnovers than we'll be going to Somerset next week trying to win a home playoff game.

I look forward for Pikeville to come to Middlesboro next year. Not because the drive or the penalties but because their fans wont be quite. You beat us, however it was NOT because you had so many more athletes than the Yellow Jackets or you were so much more aggressive but because the Jackets choked. Middlesboro's line dominated the line of scrimmage almost all night and your defense is one of the worst in the mountains.

I can remember a few years ago Ben Howard had a 6-6 programs with no discipline and a second round loss to the Harlan Green Dragons where all you could talk about was this team. I get it your excited but get over it. We can go talk about Belfry on your threads. I seem to recall them giving you all a good thumping every year since 2000.

Folks judging Middlesboro based on that Pikeville game are making a big mistake. I know a couple of Middlesboro posters on the game thread that night didn't do the team any favors, but that game was clearly an aberration.
Not trying to take anything away from Pikeville for the win. They took advantage of Middlesboro mistakes and were the better team that night based on the scoreboard. I wasn't there, but I'm guessing it was a case of an undefeated team being overconfident and once the kick-offs/turnovers happened they just couldn't climb out of the hole.
Anyway since then the Jacket defense has given up just two field goals in two games. Every time I've watched them they look like a team that's certainly capable of winning their district and making some noise in the playoffs.

The jackets are off to a great start this year and yes they have a good team this year. This game being played in Danville and Danville being Danville it will be a tough challenge for the jackets to play on the road. Believe middlesboro is the better team but after the way Danville beat somerset think they making to turn at the right time. This will be a good game.

First of all I am not a Pikeville fan. Screen name should tell you that.

Second I am not trying to hijack this thread. I live and work in the area and did not appreciate the comment made by another poster which I quoted and bolded his statement.

Third I agree Pikeville's defense is horrific at this time.

Finally, how can you talk about a teams defense when you had 77 points put on your team the same game. Not to mention saying you dominated the line of scrimmage yet you gave up 77 points. nicker:

Yeah, and we still have not lost to Belfry as many times consecutively as you all did to Bell County. Heck, there's people in Middlesboro who graduated, had kids, and became grandparents between wins for y'all in that series. :-) Sorry buddy, just had to throw that in there. All good natured ribbing. Ive been telling you it was coming all year, and all ive heard is how both could play with Corbin. Corbin embarrassed Danville, and you wont see that friday with Mboro and Danville. All year, my prediction has become more and more truthful, and its finally going to be set in stone tomorrow night.

I am still trying to figure out Somerset. How do you beat Glasgow and then turn around and lose to this danville team. I have worked a lot of puzzles, but this one has a lot of missing pieces.

When Somerset took field against Glasgow they were ready to play, last week against Danville it was like we just got to show up to win. Well they got clock cleaned. That is Difference, never know who will show up.
