Holy Cow!!!! Been out of town the last 4 days and just got back and saw this score on the KHSAA website. What Happened!!!!! I certainly wasn't expecting this. Was Shawn shut down??

He got in foul trouble. Seemed like he couldn't miss a three point shot early in the game but then he got cold and seemed as though nothing would fall. I don't think anyone could have beat SHELDON CLARK last night, they played great team ball! Way to go CARDS!!!!!:Clap:

Shawn wasn't feeling well last night. I was with him earlier in the day and he wasn't feeling good at all.

are you his mother or father I dont think so, and yes he was sick, I was at his house the night before, and I still think he had close to 15-20 point. and 10 rebounds.
Coach took him out with 2+ min to go in the 4th
Had two horrible calls against him in the 1st 60 sec of the game for charging and had to take him out. And again they call the charge against us and we set up and took about 6 charges and not the first one was called on SC. and again the officals were horrible, but that wasnt the reason we lost, SC knew they had to come out and get the W and did just that, B. May was on fire, I bet he might have missed 2 shots all night, but to say May shut down Thompson I dont Think so, he got by with alot more than Shawn did, but thats how sorry the officals have gotten in the 15th region.
I hope we get to play them again.
Yea we do lose just as you have against JC and Paintsville as we did also.
So whats your point with your post, but I guess when you all make excuses or say that someone was hurt or this or that its ok.
Anyways go Job SC and Dawgs keep your heads up and finsh strong still have a shot at thrid place in the District.

are you calling me a liar? Trust me, i know him very well and i spend time with him during the day and he was sick. so if you have evidence that he wasn't ill, please let me know.:ChairHit:

Shawn is a great player. But to say he was sick, you know someone would call you out on that. Im not saying he was or wasn't. Since I don't know.
But for someone that was sick, he sure was alive during the game. Keeping the crowd into it the whole time. Which is what he does.
Talked to him after the game, and he did seem somewhat down. Mostly do to the game and the fouls.
No doubt I will spend some time out in the Burg with my family during the summber. Look forward to play some ball at the cage with Shawn.

Well to start with I wasnt using that as an excuse, because it wouldnt matter if the kid was on his death bed he would be out there giving it his all and doing what it ever it took to get the "W" and to get the crowd involved he loves it when the place is rockin.
I gave and still give credit to SC they were ready to play. and we were just off. we got behind big when shawn went out and it was hard to play catch-up against a very good SC team, although we did battle back to within 8. and the the Mo just took over for SC.

Not tryin to say anyone was trying to use it as an excuse. Just sayin not everyone knows the whole story when it comes to different schools. And most won't listen either.
If I had to pick a starting 5 of people I have been around in the size of their heart and love of the game, Shawn and B May would be in there, easily.

CONGRATS SHELDON CLARK!!! Brandon May is one of the best ballplayers I have ever seen. I have got to watch him play a couple of times and he is AWESOME. Good Luck May!!! GO CARDS

Like I said earlier are you his mother or father I dont think so, and we wasnt using it for an excuse just stating the fact, you would know that if you didnt have your eyes closed when you read this post, I believe even a SC fan stated that he wasnt feeling that good, but you all can say what you want and read what you want because I no the truth and so do the others from LC, and no we have never used it for an excuse in any of our other loses if you want I can go bac and pull them to the front so you can read them again and realize that you have no clue what your talking about, te only other game that we said that he was sick in was the JC game at central, and yea he was sick then also.

i agree with that. I'm from LC but sure, whether or not he was sick, sheldon clark was just the better team and it showed

The Thompson kid can flat out play ball.It doesn't matter if they lost or not.Eike always has something to say about every team's players.He must know all the ball players from every school!!! I watched the Cards Friday night and SC did out play LC but Thompson's foul situation did not help LC any.The refs did miss alot of calls both ways and for once SC came out on the lucky end of the deal!!:big grin:

You say that where makeing excuses that completly bogus. I mean if someone is sick then they are sick i dont see you with a phd or a Doctorate degrees so who are you to say that he wasnt and it's just and excuse. I will give credit where credit is do good when Sheldon Clark. I think you should be happy you won instead of trying to start stuff on here. I mean your trying to talk about how sore of losers we are look your a sore winner you can't even just be happy that you won instead you got to try to get stuff started. Also practice what you preach buddy i haerad alot of lame excuses when we kicked you butts in football.
