This game was hands down the worst example of officiating I have witnessed in high school sports EVER. Southwestern had more "accepted" penalty yards than LC had rushing. The refs took SW completely out of the game and literally moved the ball down the field for Lincoln. Not counting the two decent passes Lincoln's QB made in the second half, they are an average team and played a mediocre game. The Warriors bested them in every stat category but obviously the only one that mattered last night was penalty yards. This could have been a very good ballgame if the refs had done their jobs correctly and let the two teams play.

When you are 1-8 you are doing things wrong, a lot of things. Maybe the refs actually did their jobs last night. There is a reason SW has only won 1 game this year. Undisciplined football will cost you, be it turnovers or penalties. Just because there were a lot of penalties called doesn't mean the refs were "horrible". That has become the rally cry for far too many teams.

To much talent for South Western to be 1 and 8! I put this season and last strictly on the horrible coaching staff. Maybe SW administration see the light and fire this staff. I hate it for the boys but this season is not a reflection do them!

I agree.

I can assure you that all these "close" games are a result of resilient kids. It is def not from quality fundamentals and techniques being taught. I really do get where you are coming from, but I regret to remind you that that will never happen. Big Daddy B will take care of his own. Anyone want to do a head count of the Central Office, School Admin., and Coaching positions in the PC system filled by individuals with ties to Butcher through Casey County? You don't have enough fingers and toes. I feel for the kids. Let the mediocrity continue...REBEL PRIDE

Sorry Forever, I guess I stepped on some toes with my comment about LC being an average team. I forgot what a game they played PC and the "scare" the Maroons got at home from the Patriots. The refs DID NOT do their jobs correctly. What they did was hand LC 8 first downs on penalties when the Warriors were making the stops. I'm not saying Southwestern didn't deserve some of the penalties and I agree with you in that turnovers will kill you. Unfortunately, we've witnessed that all season. What I am saying is that the refs definitely influenced the outcome of the game. Ask the radio crew who covered the game and had a much better view of the field. Better yet, watch it on Hudl. Southwestern is a good football team that's played a tough schedule this year. I hope this Friday night is no exception and the Warriors can give give PC more than they can handle. Good luck Forever and I hope both teams come out of it injury free.
