Question. If Raceland wins the district, is there any scenario that woukdnt allow them home field advantage until Bolwing Green(nthat is if they can even make it that far). It being an odd numbered year 2013, wouldnt they maintain homefield even if they played another number 1 seed?

As long as Williamsburg win an hazard the road to Bowling green lead down the Daniel Boone parkway heading west to I-75 south :welcome: to Williamsburg if they can beat Hazard

The RAMS would have home field advantage until the state semis.

The RAM line dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball against Fairview. Watching video and looking at pics. You could see #8, 20, 31 running through a sea of orange. With white black and red jerseys getting pushed back. Some going down to the knees. If this happens against Paintsville. We'll be fine!

64, I'm not mad. I just am trying to get you to understand why I say what I say. It seems at times that you are not grasping it. It has nothing to do with whether I like or dislike a team. I base it completely off their results. So far Williamsburg has absolutely no impressive results. You mention the teams that they lost to. Those are teams that are not even close to the power ratings of some teams that we have beaten. That spell contender to me. If they start playing better they could be upgraded. The problem is, they won't have a decent team to play until they get to Hazard. I really don't think they will beat Hazard and that would definitely mean they remain as a pretender.

This time of the season lets just hope all the teams stay healthy and no injuries.
Raceland should win this handily.

Are any of the Raceland seniors getting college scholarship offers to play football? We have some good seniors, and Messer of course who will have multiple options.

Let's see mysonis55 Hazard beat fairview bye 3 this year remember these are your contenders.I guess pike county central is our biggest win.an no one right now wants to play pike county central except belfry an that's this weekend. :HitWall:

Fairview may very well suprise some people. They are not a bad football team. I just think Raceland was that much better on that goven night. If Raceland can learn off of and feed off of this win vs the Eagles, they r the team to beat in the east. But that remains to be seen. Though, imo, Paintsville isnt as good as they seem, how Raceland plays (and if they win) HOW they win will speak volumes about how they will do moving foward.

Not at all. Raceland has 2 losses and Pikeville knocked them out the last time they played. The truth is no one knows who is best. It will be settled on the field.:popcorn:

Agreed, but imo Raceland has the best defense in the east. They held a Fairview run game, 150 yards below their average and outaide of 2 runs, never let the big play happen. Even with the big runs, Raceland showed to speed to catch up wrh Kurtien Brown(one of the fastest HS kids ive ever seen) from behind. The defensive line from Raceland has grown trmendously since the LC game. Over all the defense is much better and much meaner.

The east is as hard to predict as the weather eight now. But judging by the team alone, as is, not taking history into mind, Raceland is the most complete team and the only defense not to give up more than 38 pts this season.

Don't care about that. Raceland has lost 2 games, period. That doesn't make them the most complete team. Pikeville will play better D in the playoffs just like last year. And Pikeville has more weapons than either team that beat Raceland.

Imo, it's hard to say who is the best out of the east right now. Each team in question has it's strong points, and weak points. You could put them all in a paper sack, shake them up, and anyone could come out 1st. Raceland and Fairview could meet again in the playoffs, and for all we know, Fairview just might come out on top. On the field is where it will be decided.

I understand. And i still have a "show me" chip on my shoulder towards Raceland. I was just saying, if they play defense the rest of the season, like they did friday night, then their offense is versatile and balanced enough to get the job done. Pikeville is a dynamic team and very explosive offensively, I just know they have also goven up alot of points. Fairview beat Paintsville 44-7. Pikeville beat them by way of 28-21. I know match ups are different so it is hard to compare scores. What went on in te Pikeville/Paintsville game? I think that was the game that made everyone stand up and notice Paintsville, especially after Pikeville beating Prestonsburg.

I put them in order for you there 64. I know you speak a different language, or at least write that way, but surely even you can see that I had them in order. Maybe you can understand if I do it this way:
#1 Raceland
#2 Pikeville
#3 Fairview
#4 Paintsville
