Should Johnson Central petition the KHSAA and reclassify to 2A?

Since Johnson Central would be a contender in 2A and given the fact that they played a true 2A schedule, maybe the should reclassify for the playoffs so they can win their region.

I am a JC Fan and for one I am happy with his comment. You always know you are good and people fear you when the nut jobs start bashing you, and the nut jobs have been out on several threads here today. They must really be running scared and afraid to start bashing up even before the playoffs.

I have also noted that Classy Fans and Programs do not trash talk and just get it down on the field. Keep up the comments, we love them. We know we are on your radar and you are worried!

Honestly...... Every time I see a thread bashing my JC Golden Eagles, It feels like I'm cutting a promo back in the day on the WWF Saturday Morning wrestling shows before a big Pay Per View.

Actually, given the KHSAA's ongoing disdain for and unfairness toward Johnson Central, it wouldn't really matter what we petitioned.

A couple of years, our petition to move up to 5A would've likely paid off (which of course, the KHSAA denied, even as they approved Letcher Central's request to move up to 5A when their enrollment was lower than ours - it sure helps to have a BOC member from your county).

This year, actually we'd be in worse shape in 5A, with Bowling Green possibly the best team in the state (or perhaps Male). So it's always a crap shoot.

They, along with their district counterparts Ashland have tried more than once when they were both 5A to be reclassified to 4A. The KHSAA replied that neither school's population met the requirements for 4A under the classification numbers at that time. Then when the new classification came out their prayers were answered and they got moved back down to 4A, but so did the mighty Birds.
