Good game both team Boco just too strong and fast!

Too much speed.
I think Bourbon and Mason will be a good matchup.

Bourbon keeps rolling.

I know both of you hate Bourbon Co. For whatever reason, but id like your honest opinion on next weeks matchup. Fball and JW

Really looking forward to next week's game... no doubt at this point that Bourbon is clearly in the 3A Title Discussion.
Say what you want about competition level..but to absolutely obliterate every team in front of you is a testament that Bourbon is the real deal

I don't hate Bourbon County.
Honest opinion is Bourbon is and should be favored but I have continuously said don't count Mason out as a contender. I think it will be a great game.
My pick though is a Bourbon/Belfry rematch in the semis.

I don't think they played a weak schedule. I think they obliterated some good teams

I hear this was Ivan's last game as Russell gave him notice that this was it this yr....any insight on this from any of you Russell folks whether this is true or not?

That's the word on the street.

If true any thoughts or maybe your hopes of who the next coach would be? Any word on the street about that?

How old is McGlone? I know he is the only coach that I have ever seen at Russell.

Keep Ivan he still knows how to coach. Have Morris run the D Evans take the O. Get rid of Smith, Buford and the rest if the freshman staff. The last two freshman classes have made him look good and he is not.

Bourbon players were saying that Russell were great sportsman, unlike other teams they have played this year. Wish Russell all the best.....

Entering last night only two teams they had played were still alive (Garrard and Breathitt).. both of those teams basically were still alive by default after a very weak First Round game.
As I said though.. it's not like Bourbon even broke stride all year... they have absolutely crushed every team who got in their way both offensively and defensively.
I like Bourbon by 3 TD's against a pretty solid Mason County

I don't think 3 TDs. I think Mason gives them all they want.

That is a direct reflection of their coach.

The Bourbon/Mason was nowhere near close last year...I don't see Mason being able to stop Bourbon's run game. Hopkins ran all over them, and it looks like Holman has picked it up from where he left off. I can see it being a long night for Mason. Any status on Bourbon's QB? Might have to make my way up to Paris for this one.
